Ive already given you damn near thirty minutes, Alice smarted off. What the ***** did you did while you were gone, mud wrestle? Alice stomped her foot, getting angrier by the second.

Here! You happy now? Tina stormed out of the bathroom and pushed past Alice.

What the? Alice spun around to see the back of Tina and then the door close. What-ever! Im so not in the mood for this ***** today, Alice grumbled as she went into the steaming bathroom.

Tina threw herself on the bed and stared helplessly at her cell phone. She wanted to call Bette and apologize for the kiss, even though she wasnt sure she regretted it. A smile small creased Tinas mouth, as she thought about how it made her feel; so alive and vibrant, kind of like how she felt when she was in Nyas company. Nya! Tina unintentionally said out loud. Conflict filled Tinas mind as she mentally compared the two women. In one hand there was Bette, her wife, the woman she loved, spent many years with, but in spite of those feelings and the history, wasnt sure what she was going to do about their fractured relationship. And in the other hand there was Nya, a woman whom for the first time, caused her to step out of her feelings toward Bette. A woman, who made her feel alive, accepted, validated, and told her the truth about herself. That was the one thing Tina knew she needed most of all, someone who wasnt afraid to express their feelings. In the short time theyd spent, Tina felt that Nya could fill in the gaps in her life and be the gently rocked the cradle and not break the bough. Tina continued to contemplate the women, their attributes, and what role each would play in her life; and hadnt realized Alice had been calling out to her.

Tina? Alice said again, as she tapped Tinas shoulder making her jump.
