Tina considered what Alice said and the thought of a hot bath followed by a quiet evening suddenly sounded good to her.

I think I will. Enjoy your evening and Ill see you later, Tina said in passing as she went into the bathroom to run a bath. Alice left a short while later leaving Tina alone.

Tina wrapped herself in her terry cloth robe and munched on salad while mindlessly watching TV. The bath had totally relaxed her and she was now feeling pretty good in spite of the nonsense on TV. Tina finished her salad and turned the TV off opting for finishing the book shed been reading for the past month. She strolled into her room, sprawled out across the bed, and opened the book, but after getting through a few pages, Tina found she couldnt concentrate. Tina thought about Alice and how much fun she was having dating and getting out and about. She thought about how much fun she had when they all went to Ma Brennens Bordello and began to consider the very real possibility of not getting back together with Bette. It was an obscure thought in light of her recent encounter with Bette, but one that made sense to her. Bette had already tempted fate and crossed the line and it would take countless hours of counseling, talking, and proving to make Tina feel as though she could completely and totally trust Bette again.

Tinas thoughts ran the gamut of what was, what is, and what could be until she grew weary of trying to sort them out. The conflicting thoughts of being single or coupled had exhausted her and she closed her eyes to once again clear her thoughts.

Tow hours passed and Tina slept peacefully on top of the bed. The world around her was in full swing and somewhere across LA someone was thinking about her. In fact two women were thinking about her deeply and each wondered what she was doing and if they should call. The alpha female allowed pride to rear its head and dissuade her from calling, while the subordinate one yielded and succumbed to her feelings. She had less to lose and more to gain!
