    A brighter day over the horizon…

    Can you take a deep breath through your nose for me and then let it out through your mouth? Tina did it. Now I need you to do it three more times. Tina did as she was asked and Angela listened to Tinas breathing and checked her pulse, which had now slowed down. Very good, Angela patted Tinas hand. Now I need you to think about whats taken place since you were admitted. Tina closed her eyes to think and leaned back onto the pillows. Keep breathing slowly, Angela encouraged. Okay, now open your eyes and tell me whats going on. Tina opened her eyes and the tears rolled like a broken dam down her face. Its okay. Take your time and then speak when youre ready, Angela wiped Tinas face and waited.

    Tina took a huge breath, let it out, and prepared herself to speak, but the words lodged in her throat. She wished Angela were telepathic so she wouldnt have to mouth the awful dreams shed been having. Angela kept rubbing Tinas hand to keep her calm until she had the strength to speak.

    II keep hahaving nightmares, Tina strained to speak. Ththeyre about a bbaby I miscarried, the tears began to flow again. I..I dont know why ththeyre happening, she sniffed.

    Tina, youre apparently under some kind of stress and this is your bodys way of trying to deal with it. Have you tired counseling for the loss? Tina shook her head. Would you like to? I can arrange for someone to meet with you if youd like.

    Tina gave the idea some thought. Until now, she thought shed laid the issue to rest and was over it, but it was apparent that she hadnt. II dont know. Its a painful memory.

    I understand that fully and I would never dare to make light of your pain, but maybe you do need to consider this Tina. Your body is going to break down more and more if you keep internalizing and suppressing your pain. Have ever been medicated for stress? Angela reviewed Tinas chart for information.

    1. You write just about I thought… Rayne. What does she want from Bette ? Does she has some feeling for her ? What role can she have about the relationship or the no-relationship between B and T ? Ans it’s right for Tina to recover herself before to anything else. I still think Nya’ll be a very good friend for her and helping her.
      I hope you’ll write next chapter for the week-end and if it’snt, I’ll just wait.

    4. Blu… I never left *wink-wink * have always be somewhere in the shadow enjoying the show. My TiBette heart may be all battered and bruised but the realist part of me cannot and will not stop me from appreciating and enjoying the story. You’re still going strong and in my humblest opinion show tenacity and consistency. That’s right you didn’t caved in and from the looks of things and the direction this story is going, you stick to your game plan and the buildup in my humblest opinion is air tight so that said…. rock on my Blu….. Bard!

      Definitely will keep reading.
      Liked this chapter for the insight into Rayne’s character and motivation. She just gets Bette. Hope she can get Bette to see her failings and help her back on the right path.
      As for Tina, way to go girl, she needs to sort herself out and deal with the past so that she can then take on the future.
      Awesome as ever. Awaiting the next chapter with baited breath.
