Tinas Aha! moment
To Tinas surprise the meeting went well and she handled Fenwick like a champ. Feeling inspired by the many accolades she received post meeting, Tina used that energy to breeze through the rest of her day and had forgotten that shed spent the night in the hospital. It was nearly 5:00 before Tina realized she hadnt called Shane, so she promptly called to schedule her pick up. Afterward, Tina reviewed her now altered schedule for the next few days and decided to call Alice and Nya invite them over for dinner; she would tell Shane once shed arrived. Tina still felt indebted to them for their kindness and support.

Tina called Alice first. Yeah, sure Ill be there, Alice chirped happily, shall I bring something?

Im making a seafood and veggie dish, so anything you think goes with that is fine. See you around 7:30.

Hey Nya; busy? Tina gently questioned, knowing that she was supposed to have called earlier.

No, I was actually waiting to hear from you, Nya confessed. Is everything okay? How was your day? Youre not too tired are you? The barrage of questions ensued.

Im good and my day went pretty well. Listen, I want to cook dinner tonight and Im inviting Shane and Alice; can you join us?

Sure, Id love to, Nya replied without hesitation. Can I bring anything?

Just yourself should be more than enough, Tina suggestively replied.

Nya blushed and was happy Tina couldnt see it. Ohwell Nya struggled for words, Ill be there. Im sure your Alice and Shane arent up for sharing me though, Nya teased, so, Ill get some gourmet coffee and biscottis from Mama Lucias on the way.

Tina let out a hearty laugh at Nyas reply. Okay, funny girl, she laughed again, the girls will be over at 7:30, but do you think you can get here before them?

Uhm, Ill see if I can. Any particular reason why? Nya allowed her thoughts to wander.

I can show you better than I could tell you, Tina seductively replied and hung up before Nya could say another word. Tina laughed at herself for being so forthright and impulsive. I cant believe I just said that, she giggled and headed downstairs to wait for Shane.
