Chapter 27

“Well that was fun” Helena commented once she entered her friends’ room.

“Yeah, it was actually” Tina said emerging from the bathroom, as she dried her hair with a towel.

“Is she alive?” The brunette asked pointing at Alice, who was sprawled on her bed and hadn’t said a word yet.

“I am, I just didn’t know that every single muscle of the human body could hurt at the same time” The blonde finally spoke.

“Yeah, that sounds about right” Helena said as she sat down on Tina’s bed but not without showing difficulty.

“And you were an athlete, imagine how much I am hurting right now” Alice added.

“You may be hurting but you were the star today, isn’t it worth it?” Tina said giggling at the blonde’s exclamations of pain every time she moved an arm or a leg.

“Yeah, we rocked that shit… ouch!” Alice replied as she lifted one of her fists in the air and quickly put it back to its original place, as this little action had clearly hurt a lot.

“So, Tina…” Helena said turning a little more serious this time.

“Oh god… here it comes, I knew that you just didn’t come here to check on our sored hero”

“Yeah confess TK; I know something happened last night and, for the record, I still think you were pretending to be asleep when I got back”

“Wait, what is she talking about?”

“Oh come on…”

“Well, when you all went to sleep last night Agent Fairbanks seemed kind of… I don’t know, in a weird mood so she asked me to go for a walk. At first I didn’t think anything of it but when I got back, our little blodie here was pretending to be asleep. Now you will say that that is not weird, and on any other day I would agree with you, but this morning I wake up and guess who was MIA from her bed?! Yeah, that same blondie! So I got downstairs and there she was, having an apparently incredibly fun conversation with hot Agent Porter…”
