Chapter 7:
King High:
It has already been a week since Bette went to New York. Tina thought every minute about the last time they were together. How she must have hurt Bette. Tina cried almost every night, thinking how she could have pushed the one she loved so far away. Tina feared that Bette would never come back. Tina had been thinking about Bette so deeply that she didn’t see Papi come sit next to her.

 

“Tina, Tina!” Papi called her. After a moment Tina realized that someone was calling her.
“Oh, Papi. How you doing?” asked Tina. “I should be asking you that question. You look like you cried the whole night,” said Papi.
“I miss her,” said Tina tearing up.
“I know girl,” said Papi consoling Tina.
“Have you talked to her?” asked Tina wiping her tears.
“Well,” Papi started but didn’t know if she should tell Tina.
“Well what?” asked Tina wanted to know if Bette had contact with her.
“I’ve talked to her over the week,” said Papi.
“How many times?” asked Tina eager to know.
“5 times,” said Papi looking at Tina.
“5 times? She hasn’t called me to even tell me where she is,” said Tina hurt.
“No, we don’t talk over the phone. She comes online and we chat.”
“Oh,” said Tina, “Can I come to you house to speak to her?”
“Tina, you think that’s a good idea?” asked Papi.
“I need to know if she’s ever coming back.”
“She has to come back; her school is her; her mom and sisters.”
“I just need to know.”

 

Papi’s house:
After school Papi brought Tina to her house, so that Tina could chat with Bette. “When does she usually come online?” asked Tina eating the food Papi gave her. “Well, usually around 3pm. Over there it’ll be 6pm, when she comes online,” replied Papi. After a few minutes Bette came online, Papi started the conversation.
Papi: Hey….How it going?
Bette: Hey! Boring at the house as usual, but okay. How’s it going over there?
Papi: You know how it is….the girls miss…they r wondering when you coming back.
Bette: Soon….
Papi: How soon?
Bette: Papi we talked about this, I can’t come back just like that.
Papi: You said it yourself, it’s boring over there!!!! And Alice is mad because we had to cancel the party!
Bette: You cancelled the party?
Papi: Did you want us to go ahead with it? Without you?
Bette: Well thank u, for thinking of me.
Papi: LOL, you’re welcome.:P Hahaha……so are you still mad?
When Papi asked this Tina looked at Papi like she had lost her mind. “Tina you wanted to come here. So just let it in the open,” said Papi trying to convince Tina. “Fine, just do it.”
Bette: What do you mean?
Papi: About Tina?
Bette: Idk what to say…..I’m a dumbass
Papi: Why? Did you sleep with someone there?:P
Bette: Noooo!
Papi: Then why?
Bette: You’re right, I just left. Without telling any of my friends why, I guess I was so furious. I’ve never been so mad in my life. You know after everything I still want her. How stupid is that?
Papi: That’s not stupid!
Bette: Yes , it is. She doesn’t want me, and I keep going after her.
Papi: I told you too. :S
Bette: Yeah, and I shouldn’t. Anyway, I’m coming back in a few days. I need to go now. See you when I come back. Bye :D
Papi: Bye
