Tina pondered Kits words as she drove home a little while later. Tina Kennard was someone who always did the right thing. She had strong moral principles when it came to relationships. She didnt like hurt people. She remembered how things had ended with Eric, all those years ago

Tina just couldnt concentrate tonight. Eric was prattling on about some deal he was working, but Tina couldnt stop thinking about Bette Porter.

She had kissed her yesterday.

From the moment she saw her, Bette had got under her skin, in a way no one ever had before. Tina had passed it off as a little crush, it had happened to her before, but never quite like this. She had been unable to hide her interest in Bette that first night, had checked her out quite blatantly. Unfortunately, Bette Porter had noticed, and Tina had almost seen the little light bulb appear over her head as their eyes had met across the gallery on that very first night.

From there, Bettes seduction had been subtle. She had not come on strong, she had simply charmed her with her intelligence and charisma. Tina had been powerless to resist the lure of her eyes and her smile.
