    Wanna Date? Chapter 8

    8

Tina stared out of the window of her office, restless and annoyed. She wasnt getting any work done today, her brain was too busy thinking about the situation with Bette and Helena.

She couldnt deny that Helena was a more than adequate girlfriend. She knew how to be a good parent, reveled in spoiling Tina, was ***** and stylish, and had never betrayed her – unlike some people she could mention. Tina was forced to acknowledge that she found beautiful controlling ***** a huge turn on! There was something supremely ***** about an alpha female making it her mission to please you in bed, and Bette and Helena were both extremely ardent lovers.

It was funny, because in her former heterosexual days, she couldnt stand it when men tried to dominate her. She hated being treated like the little woman and patronized. Yet that was precisely what Bette and Helena were inclined to do.

And Tina kind of enjoyed it. Maybe because she knew that when it came to interactions between the sheets, she could be well attended to by her attentive lover, then given the opportunity, could turn the tables in the most delicious way. Tina would never have classed herself as the dominant type, but making a strong woman beg to be fucked really did it for her. It had taken this interlude with Helena to remind her of that trait in herself.

The last few years had seen much less of the delicious bedroom power struggle between Bette and Tina, and that imbalance had seeped out into their everyday lives. Less sexual tension, more comfortable love. But the ***** element had been a crucial factor, she now acknowledged. Without the opportunity to totally ravish Bette in bed, she had become less satisfied without really noticing. Not that the ***** had been bad. It was always good between them, sweet, tender and loving. It had just lacked the abandoned and overwhelming passion of the first years of their relationship.

Rediscovering her predilections with Helena had been fun – and very gratifying. But now, after a few months, Tina couldnt deny that something was missing from their ***** life, namely love. Or any deep feeling actually. Liking someone could only take you so far.

    1. I love to see Tina processing the ‘dating’ issue. I NEED this!

Did you ever see the movie, ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’? There’s a scene where a character taps out the ‘shave and a haircut’ rhythm. Roger almost bursts from the irresistable impulse to finish the ‘two bits’.
What does this have to do with this story? I’m trying to explain the emotionally compelling need for closure that was repeatedly thwarted on TLW, particularly in S2. Stories like yours provide the ‘two bits’.
      Thanks!

    2. this chapter was awesome, the complexity of Tina’s feelings and needs so well described or discovered as she talked to Kit. You really nailed that process. I agree with Techie you are filling in the gaps in the most compelling and thoughtful way. Loving it and waiting for your next post.

    3. I am not yet ready to see Tina kick Helena to the curb. Of course, Bette and Tina belong together, but I think that this is the perfect time to see Bette do some real groveling (which I do not think she did near enough of in S2) and she needs to know that Tina is a wonderful woman that has many choices. I think Tina should continue to date and have other such activities with both H and B for the time being. Just my opinion…

    4. Kit is right! Tina needs to make up her mind…things with her and Bette cannot just be casual. Thanks for the insight into Tina! I wish we had more of that in S2.

    5. WOW! Hey Cogent I’m just read all of the Story you got there, thats was so Beautiful Amazing story I love it Kit is right I love the way she said to Tina NOTHING IN LIFE IS A SURE THING YOU KNOW Amen of that you’re right Cogent that Awesome write up I love it Thanks Please post soon.

    6. Loved the talk between Tina and Kit. And Kit is right, Tina can´t continue this game any longer. She needs to choose eighter Bette or Helena and for god sake let her choose Bette. Please. Wonderful update. Keep going

    7. This is such a great explantion of what Tina was thinking. The show completely passed over any of this and I am glad that you have been able to fill in the gaps. It makes sense (something that IC doesn’t always do). They promised processing but it has taken the fanfic writers to acutally do it…thanks, cant wait for updates.

    8. Great chapter. Tina’s uncertainty about her relationships with Bette and Helena are quite insightful. Kit was being truthful and a real friend to Tina. Very well done.
