    The room is dark.

She sits on a bench, waiting and shivering.  This place that she has found herself in has given her an uneasy feeling.  All she knows is that she is to wait.  It is as if she knows instinctively not to move, yet the feeling of that causes her to close her eyes and tilt her face down.  There is to be an absolution and she can feel it.  What makes her shiver is the uncertainty of what that absolution will be.

The bench is cold, almost feeling damp and the darkness surrounding her has an air of emptiness to it.  Could this be her Hell?  She does not know for sure.  She does know that her instincts tell her to wait.  Shedding a tear, she begins to feel lost.  In that moment, everything changes.

A light emerges from her right, as if a door has opened.  The light shines into the room, illuminating it and she can see what appears to be an angelic figure standing at the door.  Rising to her feet, Jenny stands, walking slowly to the figure, who now speaks.

Dana: So just take your time already.

Another tear falls down Jenny’s face.  She knows the voice.  Excited, she rushes to her from an embracing hug, seeing Dana’s smile before burying her face in Dana’s right shoulder.

    Jenny: Dana!

Dana: Hey there.  I’m here to get you.

    Jenny: You are?

Dana nods.  Jenny raises her head back and takes a look at her dear friend.

    Jenny: Wow.  You look fantastic.

Dana: Thanks.  Good to see you, too Jenny.

Jenny: So…you were sent to get me?

Dana: I told them I could handle this one.

    Jenny: …They?

Dana: Don’t worry, it’ll all make sense.  Right now, we need to get out of the waiting room.

Dana offers her left hand to Jenny, who holds it with her right.  They walk out of the dark room together.

    Jenny: Is this?

Dana: Heaven?  Yeah, more or less.  It’s a little slice of it, just for us.

Walking into the wilderness, everything appearing breathtaking to Jenny.

    Jenny: It’s beautiful.

Dana: You like it? They let me decorate a little.

    Jenny: They did?

Dana: Yeah.  They really like me here.

Jenny stops walking, facing Dana and holding her hands.
