We’re going to have a revelation… Continuation of  A lost bette finally found

Tina watched Bette pace back and forth as she talked. She knew she didn’t have the right to interrupt, so in silence she let Bette have her say. It slowly dawned on Tina what Bette was doing. She was saying goodbye. Never did Tina think she would find herself on this end of this conversation. Not with Bette.

Yes she had essentially done the same thing over a year ago to Bette, but now that they had been back in the same house for over six months together, she thought that was the end of it.

Did you just hear yourself Tina? She admonished. Back in the same house, you didn’t say back together. As this realization hit Tina, she really started hearing what Bette was saying.

“…for months you have been making me pay for it, time and time again.”

Oh God., Tina thought. It is true. I have made her pay for it over and over. Tina sat and listened. Her devastation at this situation just starting to rise from inside her. In slow motion she watched Bette pick up her bag and look at her. She watched as Bette looked around the room silently saying goodbye to the past.

She hears Bette’s parting words as if in a tunnel,

    “Goodbye Tina. Be happy okay.”

And she watches Bette walk out the door without looking back.

If only she would look back, Tina thought.

“And do what Tina? See you staring at her dumbstruck because you were too proud, too ignorant, too damn egotistical to admit you were the same as her?” Shane berated Tina.

” Oh god Shane, what have I done? What have I done to her, and to me, to our family, to us? Tina weeps as she explains in full detail the events of the previous evening. “I don’t know where she has gone, or if she is even okay. God, I fucked this up so bad.” she continues crying.

” You know what Tina? I am going to tell you the same thing I told Bette over a year ago. The world does not revolve around you! The sooner you learn that the better. Dammit, for two supposedly intelligent women, you two surprise me at how limited your knowledge is about relationships, and your relationship in particular. We all see it Tina. Carmen, Alice, Kit, hell even Dana, sees how you guys are meant to be together. It was destined well before you two ever met. Why do you both fight it so damn hard. Why can’t you just be. Just be best friends, just be lovers, and soul mates and just be who you are to each other. Why do you fight it so much, both of you? Do you not understand what a gift that is? How rare that is? What the creator has destined for you? Man, you know, you two can really piss me off!” frustrated at the situation, Shane lets out a huge breath. She walks over to Tina, and sits beside her gently taking her hand.

    1. I was going to ask yesterday but the server went nutty and couldn’t “be found”. What about the rest of your ink? I’ve only got one (not counting the mark left by the beautifully sharpened pencil I tried to stop rolling off my desk before geometry class-stuck in my hand!), but I won’t tell until you do.

    2. Although I’m happy that both Bette and Tina have awakened, a part of me still wants Bette to make Tina beg her to come back…I know, I’m so wrong!

    3. I swear I thought Shane was gonna haul off and slap Tina a good one. Shane is right. You don’t just love someone when they do right because we all fuck up in some fashion sometimes.

    4. Somebody said it for me I hope this is how this season ends or S4? Starts because I dont care what anybody says these to belong together please keep up the great work

    5. Funny how you gain insight when the shoe is on the other foot. Well, it seems that said shoe has dropped HARD for both B & T to finally get the other’s perspective of their own misdoings. Let them find one another and talk. Really talk and “listen”…every essential when you really want to right a wrong. Thanks for the update.

    6. Wow this is great and so very different from the other story, but you write absolutely amazing no matter what story you’re posting…..and I would still love a sequel to the other story :o))….Please post something soon…

    7. I liked the prequel but I am enjoying the continuation of the story, and I love how each person’s side is being presented, it is just so refreshing to see how things should be done.

    8. OK, cdn, since you ‘fessed up, I guess I owe you. While contemplating some more, the one I have is a stylized representation of a boiling cauldron, viewed from above. celtic style. Somewhat similar in meaning to the “horn of plenty”, it is also meant to play on things like inspiration, transformation and growth.

    9. god dam… i light bulb went off over both of them… i guess they both just figured they are only human… ok now get them together talking… they have to talk… and please continue

    10. Hey Funnyone, I have a couple. One a tribute to the country I am obviously proud to be living in. And the other a tribute to a really big bottle of tequila I drank before we went to the tattoo shop. LOL But there are more on the way, I am just drawing them out, then I will go make them permanent. thanks for asking

    11. Tina has been lashing at at Bette for too long if she wants a relationship with her. I can see the nastiness if they has split, but not if you’re trying to build a life together. Thank you for continuing.
