    ” Look, it isn’t that hard okay? Bette fucked up. You both were hurt by it. You both payed for it. You both blamed Bette. Now the roles are reversed. You fucked up. You’re both hurt by it. You’re both paying for it. And you both blame you for it. What is the difference Tina?

    Between what Bette did, and what you did? What is the difference? You both went outside your “marriage” to seek something. In both cases it was sex that meant nothing to either of you. And before you get all ” Well I never really had sex with him, it was online not in person” it doesn’t fucking matter! It is still the same thing. And the fact that you were with a guy, is an even harder blow to Bette’s obviously fragile ego. Do see where I am taking you here Tina?

    Tina sat and thought about the last 8 years of her life. It played across her like a movie. She saw the incredible happiness, there was so much of it. And she saw the last few years of sadness and the distance that came between her and Bette. She saw Bette’s mistakes, and then she saw her own.

    It hit her hard when the realization took hold. It was just as much her fault in everything wrong as it was Bette’s. It was just easier to blame Bette, because she knew Bette would shoulder the responsibility. The old adage, it takes two to tango came into her mind.

    “Okay Shane. I do get it. Right this moment I do. Now, how do I fix it. How do I get the only woman I have ever, and could ever love to listen to me after everything I have put her through? How do I tell her how sorry I am for not being her partner? For not showing her love, and respect and treating her with dignity? How do I make it up to her for the horrible way I have been to her for the past year or longer? How do I convince her that I do, I truly do love her, and that I can and now finally do forgive her for her part in the mess we have made of our lives. How do I get her back Shane? How?”

    4. I was going to ask yesterday but the server went nutty and couldn’t “be found”. What about the rest of your ink? I’ve only got one (not counting the mark left by the beautifully sharpened pencil I tried to stop rolling off my desk before geometry class-stuck in my hand!), but I won’t tell until you do.

    7. Although I’m happy that both Bette and Tina have awakened, a part of me still wants Bette to make Tina beg her to come back…I know, I’m so wrong!

    8. I swear I thought Shane was gonna haul off and slap Tina a good one. Shane is right. You don’t just love someone when they do right because we all fuck up in some fashion sometimes.

    13. Funny how you gain insight when the shoe is on the other foot. Well, it seems that said shoe has dropped HARD for both B & T to finally get the other’s perspective of their own misdoings. Let them find one another and talk. Really talk and “listen”…every essential when you really want to right a wrong. Thanks for the update.

    16. I liked the prequel but I am enjoying the continuation of the story, and I love how each person’s side is being presented, it is just so refreshing to see how things should be done.

    17. OK, cdn, since you ‘fessed up, I guess I owe you. While contemplating some more, the one I have is a stylized representation of a boiling cauldron, viewed from above. celtic style. Somewhat similar in meaning to the “horn of plenty”, it is also meant to play on things like inspiration, transformation and growth.

    25. Hey Funnyone, I have a couple. One a tribute to the country I am obviously proud to be living in. And the other a tribute to a really big bottle of tequila I drank before we went to the tattoo shop. LOL But there are more on the way, I am just drawing them out, then I will go make them permanent. thanks for asking

    26. Tina has been lashing at at Bette for too long if she wants a relationship with her. I can see the nastiness if they has split, but not if you’re trying to build a life together. Thank you for continuing.
