“Okay boss, “she says smirking again. Sucking her teeth she opens the door to her office. She had a huge corner spread with a window view looking out towards the city. Her office contained a large black leather sectional couch, dining area, a fish tank, and miniature sized basketball hoop that sat in the corner of her office. Focused on filling her empty stomach she places her Jack in the Box bag on her desk, sits in her chair and spins herself around facing her computer. The taste of beef, bacon, and cheese filled her mouth and she savored every bite. Grabbing a couple of curly fries she shoves them in her mouth too.

“Hi, ”The sound of the voice startled her almost causing her to fall out of her chair. Turning around she is shocked to see she had a visitor.

“Alice——-hey.”

“Hey, sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” When Tasha saw her it all made since why her secretary kept smirking at her.

“No, you didn’t scare me not at all.”

“Yup.”

“Then explain the glob of ketchup and mustard chilling on the side of your mouth and you falling out of the chair?”

“Oh, “she says reaching and grabbing a napkin wiping the contents from her mouth walking towards her, “Okay, yeah I was startled I didn’t know you were here waiting.”

“You’re probably wondering why I’m here we haven’t really spoke in a few days and I know you’d be working late so I took half a day to come down here to say I was sorry.”

“No, it was me I shouldn’t have bought it up——–,” before she could complete her sentence Alice approached her holding a finger up to her lips silencing her. Staring at Tasha she moves both her arms around her neck, “I miss you, “she says before leaning in kissing her. Welcoming the contact she kisses her back, “I miss you too.” Meanwhile, Mike whom Tasha was awaiting his call was calling although Tasha instructed her secretary to send his call through she took a message instead. She had been working for Tasha long enough to know when Alice showed up at the office there were things going on behind those closed doors other than talking.
