“Wait, I thought you had a blast with Dana on set with you?”

“I didn’t….I mean I did everything was okay until I completely forgot I was supposed to meet up with Alice for dinner!”

“T, please tell me you didn’t, “she says grabbing two wine glasses from the cabinet.

“Yes, I completely forgot and stood her up!”

“Tina!”

“I know I have got to be the worse friend in the world.”

“Well, did you try and call her?”

“Well, I had to wait until I dropped Dana off I called her like 8 times and she hasn’t answered I feel like shit! She’s already been feeling some type of way and well I think I just made matters worse.”

“Al, is tough she’ll be alright.”

“I don’t know Bette I mean you how she gets when Tasha is away she’s probably feeling like I’m abandoning her.”

“Baby, look I am pretty sure all will be forgiven tomorrow morning, “she says now rubbing her shoulders.

“Hmmmm, that feels good.”

“Yeah, I can make you feel better all over, “she says placing feather like kisses on her neck.

“Oh I know you can, you know what Dana told me today?”

“What?”

“That were always doing it.”

“Well, she’s right you know besides I’m ready to explore my lucky rabbits foot.” Standing up Tina kisses her passionately. They made their way upstairs leaving pieces of clothing in their wake. Staying true to her word Bette helped relax Tina putting her to sleep. Wrapping her arms around her waist she spoons her from behind relaxing her body against hers she falls asleep soon after.

Alice awoke the following morning to find eight missed calls from Tina after the stunt she pulled the day before she deleted them as well as the voicemail messages she left. Getting out of bed she walks into the bathroom and stands in front of the sink looking into the mirror.

“Uh, my hair looks terrible, “walking back into the bedroom she picks up her phone and dials a number.

“Hello, this is Shanes how may I help you?”

“Hey is this Delia?”

“Yes, it is to whom am I speaking too?”

“This is Alice.”

“Oh, hey Al how are you?”

“I’m doing okay but my hair is a mess listen I had an appointment scheduled this morning but had to cancel due to Shane not being in today so I was wondering do you have any openings for tomorrow?”

“Uh, Alice there must be a mistake Shane came in this morning.”

“No, that can’t be right she’s out today.”

“Unless she has a twin sister that looks exactly like her she is finishing up with a client now.” Alice mouth is wide open from shock as she couldn’t believe what she was hearing not wanting to make it seem like something was wrong she played it off.

“Oh, you know my bad now I remember she did tell me she wasn’t going to be in today my fault I completely forgot.”

“Oh, okay not a problem.”

“Thanks Delia, “she says before hanging up the phone staring at it in disgust.

“OMG, when did all my friends turn into freaking liars just wait until I see her ass!” Before placing her down on the nightstand she notices the notification light on her phone was blinking she had received a text, it was from Tasha. Opening it, it was a cute picture of here with the caption “Thinking Of You.” In middle of responding to her text she looked at the picture again and noticed a small hand and thigh straddling her leg. She also noticed and small pair of mary jane shoes as well. A smile child was sitting on her lap however she had cropped them out before sending her the picture. Catching Shane in a lie had already ruined her morning but seeing Tasha feel the need to crop a child out of a picture had officially made her feel like shit.
