“Oh, Ron hush yes please we will need 4 more chairs oh and while you’re at it could you bring 3 Shirley Temples for the kids and some menus?”

“Thanks.” Tasha was sitting near the very edge of the table the waitress seeing an opening places one of the chairs near her. Gail and Rons 8-year-old daughter climbs into the chair.

“Hi, I’m Kate.”

“Hi Kate it’s nice to meet you my name is Tasha.”

“Hi, “she says smiling.

“Hey ya’ll I’m Ron’s wife Gail, “she says taking a seat. When she sat down everyone tried their best to conceal their laughter. Tasha picked up her beer and took a sip when she placed it back on the table she was shocked when Kate climbed into her lap. Making herself comfortable she picks up the childrens menu searching for a meal to order.

“Awwwwww, looks like Tasha has made a friend.”

“I am so sorry, “Gail says realizing Kate had climbed into Tashas lap, “Get down and sit in your own chair.”

“I want to sit here.”

“Uh, look I don’t mind it’s cool really.”

“Well, since you’re okay with it you two huddle together so I can get a picture.”

“Gail, is that really necessary?”

“Yes, Ron oh don’t be a party pooper, okay now on the count of 3 say cheese 1, 2, 3 cheese!”

“See, what I mean don’t get married, “he whispers in Daniels ear both Kate and Tasha smiled. When Gail sat back down she sent the picture to Ron, who forwarded it to Tasha. Opening her phone and looking at the picture she had to admit it was really cute. Finding Alices name she type the words “Thinking of You,” attaching the picture of her and Kate. Before she hit the send button she thought about how uncomfortable Alice became when discussing children. Opening the gallery she cropped Kate out of the picture the best she could then sent it to her. Putting her phone away she enjoyed the rest of her evening with her co-workers.
