Alice: Holy ***** that was close!

Shane: We have to keep Bette away for the next two days.

Kit: (Chuckling)I dont think well have a problemTinas the one thats gonna have trouble.

Dana: I think its kind of cute that Bette wants to be around Tina.

Alice: (Being sarcastic)Cutemaybe. Annoyingyes!

Kit: Im beginning to think Tina will agree with you.

Shane: So, what do we do now?

Alice: (Pulling out a piece of paper)Tina left me her list of what needs to be done.

Dana: How long is that list?

Alice: Actually, most of the list is for Tina.

Kit: Ok, hit us with this list.

Alice: Ill just start from the top and work my way downFirst, group attiresecond

Dana: Wait a minute, what does she mean by group attire?

Alice: Knowing Tina, shes talking about what we should wear.

Dana: AND?

Kit: I think we should look goodmaybe something light colored.

Shane: But NO sundresses!

Shane: What about flowers?

Alice: She doesnt really say.

Dana: Do you think they would want bouquets?

Kit: Maybe Tina, but I dont think Bette would.

Dana: Then what does she mean?

Shane: How about we take rose petals and create and aisle.

Kit: (Leaning towards Shane with a big smile)That sounds good. Girl, youre gonna break some hearts!

Shane: Can we move on?

Alice: Oknext, candles.

Dana: What are we going to do with candles?

Alice: I dont know, why do you keep asking me?

Dana: Because youre the one holding the list.

Alice: (Motioning to Dana)Here, you hold the list.

Shane: (Interrupting)Why do I have a feeling were planning this wedding? I sure hope Tina likes our decisions.

Kit: (Smirking)She doesnt really have a choice now does she?

Alice: What should we do about candles?

Shane: This is taking place at sundown right?

Alice: Correct.

Shane: What do we need candles for then?

Alice: Lets just wait and come back to candles.

Dana: Sounds goodkeep going.

Alice: Music is up next.

Kit: Thats my cue. What does she say?

Alice: Again, not much. It just says musicgive CD to Kit.

Kit: Did she leave the CD?

Alice: Yes, she gave it to me this morning.

Kit: Can we listen to it?

Alice: I dont see why not.

Alice gets the CD and pushes play. The group sits there taking in the music that Tina had selected.

Kit: That was beautiful. What should I do with them?

Alice: I dont knowI Do know the second song she wants played for their first dance together.

Kit: So Ill assume the first song, the instrumental part is to be played as they walk down the aisle?

Shane: Sounds good to me!

Dana: Tina probably has them set up in the order she wants them.

Kit: Youre probably right, Ill just play the CD from start to finish.

Alice: Now that thats settledshall we move on?

Dana: Go ahead.

Alice: Okweve decided on the attireflowersmusicskipped the candles

Dana: (Interrupting)Hey! We could stand in a circle around them while they dance and hold candles.

Kit: Im following youa candle light dancehow romantic.

Dana: We could get the 24 tapered with nice wax guards as handles.

Shane: Well Dana, who would have thought that you to be so romantic.

Dana shot Shane a look.

Alice: Okwe can scratch off candlesnext it says Alices speech.

Shane: Have you written it yet?

Alice: Ive started it

Kit: Please tell me youre taking this serious?

Alice: Why does everyone keep asking me that?

Dana: OhI dont knowmaybe because were talking about you.

Alice: (Jokingly commenting toward Dana)Kiss my *****!

Kit: Can we get back to the list please?

Alice: Fine! Tina wrote vowsI know she wrote them this morningand no, I havent heard them. There are only two things left on the list.

Shane: What two things?

Alice: She wrote Manolis Jewelers.

Dana: Does anyone know what shes doing with the rings yet?

Kit: Lord knows I tried to find out, but Tinas not budging when it comes to that.

Shane: I guess well have to wait two more days.

Alice: The last thing says Bette and wardrobe.

Dana: I wonder what shell wear.

Kit: Im curious on how shes going to get Bette to let her pick out her outfit for the evening? You know Bette and her clothes.

Alice: Id love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation.

Shane: Tina sure has her work cut out for her.

Dana: So thats it? Thats the list?

Alice: Yep, now we need to finalize some things.

Dana: Like what?

Alice: Like what time we should meet, where we should park so were not spotted, how we want to set up

Kit: Lets take it one question at a time.

Alice: Okwhat time should we meet?

Shane: Tina said 7:00 pier 13Id say 6:30. That will give us about 45 minutes before the two love birds make their presence known.

Alice: Where should we park?

Kit: Lets meet by the stairs that Tina told us to use at 6:30, and we can park down by pier 10.

Alice: You want us to walk that far?

Kit: Do you want to ruin Tinas plan?

Alice: Pier 10rightgot it!

Shane: So how do we want to do thisset it up?

Alice: Well, we know which direction theyre coming from

Kit: (Looking at Alice)Do you have an idea or thought youd like to share?

Alice: Actually, I have an ideafollow meAs they walk up they are greeted by us. We are standing together, basically shoulder to shoulderhiding the setting behind us. As they get near us we part to expose the rose walk way. At the end of the walk way we put one of the candles in the sand. I stand behind the candle and they stand in front. You two (referring to Dana and Kit) stand by their side.

Shane: What am I supposed to do again?

Alice: Tina wants you to take pictures.

Shane: During, after, or both?

Alice: Both!

Kit: I like your idea Alice, but when does the music play for their walk?

Alice: When we split and go to our places you can cue the music.

Dana: So we are splitting before they reach us?

Alice: Yes, we have to so we are in place when they arrive.

Dana: So when will we know when we should split?

Alice: IllIll give the sign.

Shane: What sign?

Alice: F*ck if I knowIll just say now.

Kit: Works for me.

Alice: Now that thats settledlets reviewShane.

Shane: We arrive at pier 10 at 6:30.

Alice: RightDana?

Dana: We walk to desired destination and set up.

Alice: Rightwhat do we set up? Kit?

Kit: We sprinkle rose petals on the aisle, that we created, I set the CD player off to the side but near the front, and we put a candle at the front where Alice will be standing.

Shane: You know, we could also put candles veering off the aisle where Dana and Kit will be standing to give more light for the pictures and create a more romantic setting.

Kit: I like where youre going with this.

Shane: I just thought it would make the pictures look better and when the ceremony was over the candle would already be lit.

Dana: So when do we light the candles?

Alice: Id say at 7:00 so they are lit when they walk upOk, back on trackaisle done, music done, candles doneShane pick it up.

Shane: Well, other than putting the champagne on ice, double checking the film in the camera, and the four of us standing in front of the rose made aisle, Id say were done.

Alice: Great, glad you got that last bit covered. So Dana, youre getting the candles and holders, Kit youre bringing the CD and CD player, Shane your bringing the champagne, and Im bringing the rose petals and Tinas camera.

Kit: Sounds like we got everything covered.

Alice: OhDanaremember to bring a lighter and Shanebring some glasses.

Dana: (Looking at Alice)Smartasswe knew that.

Alice: I just wanted to be sure we had everything covered. (Clapping her hands together)two days people, two days!


Meanwhile at the unofficial Porter/Kennard house

Bette: T, is everything ok?

Tina: Yeah babe, why?

Bette: Wellearlier tonight you acted surprised and paranoid that I showed up at Alices. Everyone there acted like they had seen a ghostat one point, it looked like I was interrupting some type of meeting.

Tina: (Realizing Bette is catching on)Uhwellwe sort of were having a meeting.

Bette: (Furrowing her brow)What kind of meeting? Why wasnt I invited?

Tina: (Holy *****, I keep putting myself in these situations, now getting nervous)Uhbabewellyou werent invited because we were discussing you.

Tina: (Moving on to calm Bette, F*ck, this isnt working)Bettelet me explainI told Alice the other day that you asked me to move back. Dont be mad at Alice, she didnt do anything accept comfort and care for me. She was there when no one else was, including you. She became my rock, my ear, the only one I could truly trust. Tina put her hands on Bettes cheeks so she could look Bette in the eyes.

Tina: I love you, more now than ever before. I was scared to take the next stepscared to be hurt again. But Alice more than assured me that not taking that step was killing me more because I wanted it so much. I took that step and look where we are now.

Bette tried to look down out of guilt for her accusations of Alice.

Tina: Babeplease look at me. I told Alice you asked me to move back home because I wanted to share my happiness with her. Besides, I would be moving out of her apartment, I had to tell her sometime.

Bette: But why did you tell everyone else? Why wasnt I there with you? This is a patterneveryone knowing before me.

Tina: (You have no idea)Bette, we didnt get together to talk about thatit just happened while we were waiting on the pizza.

Bette: Why did everyone look so scared and surprised when I arrived?

Tina: (Taking Bette by the hand and leading her to the couch)Babe, do you remember how you acted when you found out everyone knew about the baby before you?

Bette: T. I had every right to be pissed. I should have been the first to know.

Tina: I know babe, I know. Im just saying that maybe they were scared you would react the same way.

Bette sat there just staring at Tina, her eyes were glossy as she tried to fight of tears.

Bette: Im sorry T, you have every right to share things in your life with your friends.

Tina: Bette, theyre our friends, they love us boththey are thrilled everything is working out for us. Dont be mad at them.

Bette: Im not madI was hurt. But Im not going to let that ruin my moodmy baby is coming home.

Bette didnt wait for Tina to say another word, she quickly moved in and planted a kiss upon Tinas lips. Tina welcomed Bettes advance, in fact, she herself deepened the kiss. Bette slowly parted her lips as Tinas soft tongue moved across her lips meeting Bettes eager, yet calm tongue. Bette began to suck on Tinas bottom lip as Tina slowly moved her hands down Bettes neckshouldersbackjust under the hem of her shirt.

Tina: (Now realizing what shes doingbreaking off the kiss)Babe, we have to stop before this gets out of control.

Bette: (Playfully)Whats so wrong with that.

Bette nuzzles Tinas neck.

Tina: Bette! We had an agreement.

Bette: (Still playful)Agreements usually leave room for compromise.

Tina: (Picking up on Bette intentions)Ok Ms. Porter, compromise(Moving to whisper in Bettes ear)next week my loveour first official night together. Two more days, God, two more days!

Bette wrapped her arms around Tina and pulled her into a hug.

Bette: (Whispering in Tinas ear)Id wait forever if I had to. But next week is perfect!
