Bette: I dont knowI havent really given it any thoughtwhy?

Tina: I was just curious. She said we needed to look gorgeous.

Bette: I still have two days to decide.

Tina: How about you let me decide for you?

Bette: (Giving Tina a strange look)Youdress me? I hope you mean actually putting the clothes on me!

Tina: (Slapping Bettes Arm)Bette! I mean pick out your clothes.

Bette: (Chuckling)UhTId prefer you just help me put on the clothes.

Tina: I just want to see you in something particularI want to show you off.

Bette: OhI seeyou want to pick out my clothing so you can show me off.

Tina: Yeah!

Bette: (Toying with Tina)So youre telling me that when I choose my own clothes, Im not good enough to be shown off?

Bette: Then why all of a sudden do you want to dress me?

Tina: (Why doesnt anything ever go smoothly)I love the way you look in this outfit, and besides, the better I look the harder it is to resist you. (Way to go Kennard, hit her where it hurts.)

Bette: Are you flirting with me Ms. Kennard?

Tina: (Smiling)Not at all!

Bette: Are you trying to bribe me?

Tina: Maybe

Bette: As tempting as that soundsI dont think so!

Tina: (F*ck, now what am I going to do?)Babe

Bette: Trust me Tina, Ill look irresistible just for you.

Tina: (I have no doubt you will, but youll probably be wearing something in black)Ok babe. (Ill just have to wait and see what she comes up with.)

Tina: Youll have to wait and see.

Bette: T, come onall this discussion about my attire and you wont tell me anything?

Tina: (Wearing a big smile)Correct!

Bette: (Playfully)Well that doesnt sound fair.

Tina: (Leaning in to kiss Bette)Awe babethe worlds not fair.

Bette quickly pulled Tina in for a tickle session and some quick kisses.


[The Day before the ceremony]

Alice: (On the phone)Hey Dana, what are you doing today?

Alice: Do you want to go with me to get some last minute stuff?

Alice: I need to get the rose petals. Dont you still need to get candles?

Alice: Ok, Ill be there in an hour. Bye.

Alice: (Making another call)Hey Shane, have you gotten the champagne yet?

Alice: Great! Yeah, Dana and I are going to pick up the rest of the stuff in about an hour.

Alice: No, Tina hasnt come home yet so she doesnt know what we decided.

Alice: Im counting on Tina liking our decisions. She doesnt really have a choice. Besides, she has too much going on right now to worry about small details.

Alice: I agree that those details are what make it special, but I dont think Tina has the time.

Alice: Not to change the subject, but what are you wearing tomorrow night?

Alice: Come onIm just curious.

Alice: Fine, Ill just wait until I see you.

Alice: YeahyeahI know. I plan on writing it all out tonight.

Alice: I will. Hey, I gotta run. I told Dana Id be there in an hour.

Alice: Dont start Shane. Shes beginning to come around and I dont want to scare her off.

Alice: Yeah I knowIll see you tomorrow.


[The Porter/Kennard house]

Tina: Babe, I really need to get going. I have a ton of errands to do today.

Bette: Like what?

Tina: For startersyou have to get to work youre already late.

Bette: I told James yesterday that Id be in after 11 today. Besides, why arent you at work?

Tina: Uhsame reason.

Bette: (Joking with Tina)You told James youd be late as wellIm glad hes so informed on our lives.

Tina: (Smiling and swatting Bette on the arm)Very funny. You know what I mean. (Pause) Really babe, I need to get going.

Bette: (Giving Tina her sad, puppy dog eyes)Whats so important that you need to rush off to?

Tina: (Damn woman, quit asking so many questions)I told you babe, I have some errands to run.

Bette: (Still pouting)Come on T, what are you

Bette is interrupted by Tinas cell phone.

Tina: (Thank God)Hello.

Tina: This is Tina Kennard.

Tina: YesgreatIll be by today to pick it up. Thanks for calling. Bye.

Bette: Who was that?

Tina: It was nothing babe.

Bette: (Raising her eyebrow)Really?

Tina: (Leaning over to kiss Bette)Ive been waiting on something to come in.

Bette: Ohok.

Tina: Really baby, I gotta go. I gotta get these errands done.

Bette: Ok babywill I see you tonight?

Tina: Ill call you later and let you know.

Tina kisses Bette goodbye then heads out the door to run her errands for the ceremony.


Manolis Jewelry.

Tina: Hi, Im here to pick up my design. I was told it was ready.

Mr. Manoli: Ah yes, Ms. Kennard. I have your design in the back room. I must say it turned out even better than I had imagined. Ill go get them.

Tina: Great, thanks.

Mr. Manoli: (Returning from the back)Please tell me what you think.

Tina: (Slowly opening the box she was handed)Theyre beautiful Mr. Manoli. (Tears welled up in her eyes)I couldnt have asked for anything better.

Mr. Manoli: Im happy and relieved you are satisfied.

Tina: Im more than satisfiedtheyre perfect.

After paying for the designs Tina heads to Alices.

Tina: (Walking into the apartment)Alice, are you here?

Tina got no response so she decided to look over her vows to make sure they said everything she wanted them to say.


The CAC.

Bette: (On the phone)Yes, may I speak to Tina Kennard.

Bette: What do you mean she isnt in?

Bette: I thought shed be there by now.

Bette: Can you tell me when you expect her?

Bette: (Caught completely off guard)Two weeks!

Bette: (Now upset)No, no message. Thank you.

Bette hung up the phone and began to pace back and forth in her office.

Whats going on Tina? Why did you tell me you were going to be late for work? I guess two weeks constitutes being late but damn. I dont understand, what are you not telling me?

After calming down a bit, Bette decides she needs to call Tina.

Bette: Hi T. Hows your day going?

Bette: T, I have three questions for you. One, why arent you at work? Two, why are you on leave for two weeks? Three, is there something going on that youre not telling me?
