“Hey! I’m here!” Alice said cheerfully.
“Oh hi!” Tina responded distracted.
“God, show some enthusiasmmy dentist is more pleased to see me than you,” Alice responded sarcastically.
Tina tried to turn away from the train wreck that was unfolding in front of her before Alice could see what held her attention, but it was too late.
“Wha?isn’t that Bette over therewithwho the ***** is that?” she spluttered.
“I don’t know and I don’t want to find out,” Tina replied angrily while trying to turn and leave the bar.
“No, nowe have to go over, just to meet Bette’s new young friend,” Alice exclaimed carelessly as she hadn’t seen the look that Tina now sported in her eyes.
A look of sheer anguish.
Alice dragged Tina towards Bette’s table just as the twink extricated herself from Bette’s lap and was rapidly moving towards the bathrooms.
Had Tina been more observant she would have realised that Bette was playing her, punishing her with her own little game. Bette had seen Tina walk in twenty minutes earlier and watched her as she took up her position at the bar. Bette then called over to the first woman who eyed her up too long and invited her to sit in her lap.
A few choice words from Bette and the two of them were making out like teenagers in seconds. Bette knew that this would get a rise out of Tina, and kept it up as long as she could tolerate the annoying young woman.
What she did not count on was Alice coming in and seeing the display. As soon as Bette saw Alice she whispered in the twink’s ear to go wait for her in the bathroom, which she eagerly did as Alice and Tina approached.
“Hi stranger!” Alice spoke cheerfully, “How’s Kit doing today?”
“Hi AliceTina, she’s getting there slowly, thanks for asking.”
“That’s good, tell her I’ll come by tomorrow for a bitumm Bette?”
“Yeah?” Bette nonchalantly reached for her glass of Perrier and took a sip.
“Who’s your friend? Umm, a little young don’t you think?”
“I’ll say” Tina mumbled a little to loudly.
“Excuse me?” Bette directed her question at Tina and Tina quickly looked away recognising that perhaps she may have stepped over that invisible boundary line that the two of them had drawn.

ahhh bitter sweet love and childish games….
i hope for “now”..they need to talk and understand what is happening to them and why..cuz the love never disappeared but they are confuse and need some time alone to think.. talk and rebuild the trust baby steps to make the right move and never regret hope for some good news soon post soon thanks :o)
I, too vote that they head off somewhere alone without the distractions of West Hollywood and their friends. They NEED to talk. Loving your story though :-)
Like this story but, please let them talk their problems out or go away for a day or two to give them a respite from the sameness of things. Let htem see the love they have for each other and get back together and above all else, swallow that damnable pride they each have.
In every piece of fanfiction I have read there remains one standout problem, B & T doe not have an interpersonal relationaship. They have HOT sex and make-up sex but they can not seem to be able to just talk with each other. They only talk or recognize the other WHEN THEY ARE IN CRISIS. They are very attuned to each other sexually but not in any other way. Just let them get back together please. Post soon.

Bette didnt say a damn thing about going away and taking Tina with her:
Bette thought that she would give it another month or so and once the new manager settled in, and Kit seemed stronger she would do something special by herself, for herself.
She would forget about everything and everyone, including Angelica, even though Angie would be the hardest to ignore.
If Bette is going to play childish games in front of Tina.it will never get any better. Even tho Tina brough a man to their home. then had other dealing with him. Bette will and was hurt, but Tina knows that she sorta started it. .
Damn this is sad and please don’t let them apart and let them talk and work thing out and be together again. Post soon, thanks!
