    chapter seven

    Bette: Okay want to go back to the talble?

    Tina: No I want to kiss you right here right now.

    Bette: I don’t think it……

    I walked up behind Bette and wrapped my arms around her waist.

    Bette: …..is a good……..

    Bette turned around so she was now facing me.

    Bette: …..idea.

    Tina: No it is a GREAT Idea.

     

    CHAPTER SEVEN

    I am standing in front of Bette as I look into her eyes I know she wants this kiss as much as I do. I cannot restrain myself from doing this. I can feel my heart accelarating as I move my face closer to hers. I gently press my lips against hers and my eyes begin to close. Suddenly we are forced to break apart as we hear someone enter the bathroom. I sigh in frustration this is the second time today that I almost got to find out how good a kiss from Bette would be.

    Bette: I think our coffees are getting cold

    Tina: Yeah more than likely

    Another woman walks into the restroom so Bette and I leave to go sit at our table. Our coffee is indeed cold so we order two new ones. Sitting here at this table looking at this woman I cannot believe all these feeling rushing through my body or the thoughts running through my head. Why is it that I am so taken with this beauty? Why do I feel like I would cease to exist is she wasn’t present in my life? Why is it that I can’t bring myself to tell her these things? I can’t let her know not yet anyways.

    Bette: Tina? …Tina??

    Tina: Yes? sorry.

    Bette: Are you spacing out on me?

    Tina: No I was just thinking about something.

    Bette: What were you thinking?

    Tina: I was thinking……That I value our frienship.

    Bette: Me too. That is why I don’t want to do anything to ruin it.

    Tina: I don’t belive that could happen.

    We finish our coffees and leave to go back to our own homes. I walk Bette to her car and give her a hug wishing It was so much more. I stand there and watch Bette wave at me before she starts her car. I wait and watch as she tries to start it again…..and………again. The car isn’t starting for some reason so I offer to give her a ride home. Bette accepts my offer and we hop into my vehicle. I start my cars engine.
