The rest of the weekend went by and the girls didn’t speak to each other.  Bette spent the time doing things around the house she doesn’t have time for during the week and even went to have breakfast with the girls at The Planet on Sunday morning, which she hadn’t done in a while so everyone was happy to see her.  Tina had a normal weekend with her friends and everyday things, she tried her best to keep Bette out of her mind. But now that she knew what Bette was going though she couldn’t help but worry about her, and there was the fact that Tina had a crush that was growing with every moment she spent with one Bette Porter.  When Monday came around they were both excited to see the other. Bette had just gotten out of her first class and decides to pop in on Tina.

-In Tina’s Office-
Tina: hearing a knock “come in”
Bette: opening the door “Hey”
Tina: “Hi! I was just thinking about coming down to see you.”
Bette: “ah well great minds….. can I interest you in some lunch?”
Tina: “I would love some. Mondays take forever to be over, I feel like I have been here for ever and it is only 12:00”
Bette: “well then lets get you out of here for a bit.”

They went to lunch and enjoyed each others company as always, Tina was asking all of the questions she had wanted to know about Bette’s love life. She felt it was only fair since they had spent the pervious three months going over hers.  After they got back they agreed to have lunch again on Wednesday since Tina had a meeting with a student tomorrow.

-Wednesday Bette’s office-
Tina: walking in “hey, lunch?”
Bette: “Hi, yea just let me finish typing this e-mail and I will be all set.”
Tina: taking a seat “ok take your time”
Bette: “The Dean wrote me today about maybe teaching another class next semester.”
Tina: “oh Bette that’s great, you’ll be ….” she was cut off
Emily: walking in “HEY Aunt Bette!”
Bette: looking up shocked to see her niece “Em! What are you doing here? Are you ok?”
Emily: “Yea I’m fine we came here on a class trip to see a play in the theater and I asked my teacher if I could come find your office.”
Bette: “And she just let you run off? “
Emily: “well I have to be back in ten minutes that is when the bus is leaving.” Seeing Tina for the first time “Hi!”
Tina: “Hi”
Bette: “Emily this is Tina, she is a professor here. Tina this is my niece Emily.”   
Tina: “Hi it’s nice to meet you”
Emily: “You too, what do you teach?”
Tina: “Film”
Emily: “Like movies? You get to take classes about movies in college! I can’t wait for that!”
Tina: “haha well it is more about looking at what makes a good movie, and how to go about making one.”
Emily: “Well is still better then math and science. I hate them!”
Bette: “Well if you do well in them now then you can take all the movie classes you want in college. Come on we were just leaving, I’ll walk you back out to your class.”
Emily: “ok.  Do you think you could call Aunt Mel and tell her I have a lot of homework tonight and I can’t go over there?”
Bette: “Em you know I can’t do that, I’m sorry I wish I could.”
Emily: “Please! What if I call her? I don’t want to go there tonight I just want to go home!”
Bette: feeling bad “just go this week, it is only four hours and I will see what I can do for next week ok?”
Emily: “Ok it’s a deal.  There’s my class I gotta go. It was nice to meet you Tina. Bye Aunt Bette, I’ll see you at 7:00?”
Bette: “yea I’ll be there! Bye”
Tina: “bye.  Well she is full of energy!”
Bette: “Yea, she’s a good kid. But she is a talker, sometimes I don’t know when she breathes.”
Tina: “so did I hear correctly that you are free for dinner tonight?”
Bette: smiling over at Tina “umm, well yea but just till 7:00. They get dropped off then.”
Tina: “well then would like to join me in a screening I have to go to? It starts at 5:00 and it’s only an hour so it will give you plenty of time to get home for 7:00 drop off. What do you say?”
Bette: “umm, sure why not. And why don’t you come back to my house after we can order in. The kids normally just do homework and hang out when they come back.” (Omg I just invited her back to the house when everyone is going to be home!)
Tina: she just invited me to meet everyone “sure I would love that”
Bette: “ok then” (is this a date? Just leave it Bette)
