Later that evening, Bette left work, went to the thai resturaunt, then arrived home…As she was getting out of the car…Jenny walked up…”Hey Bette..”

“I’m sorry to bother you…but I just wanted to let you know that I was bringing our trash out to put in the can…and I noticed a vase with roses in it….I took a few to plant…if that’s ok…’
“Yea..sure…that’s fine…” said Bette
Jenny turned to walk away…”Jenny, did you say that there was a vase with roses in it…in the can?” making sure that she heard correctly…
“Yea…..I didn’t sniff through anything….I just grabbed the roses out…I’m sorry…I would’ve told Tina…but she wasn’t here all afternoon…she just got home about an hour ago…”
“No…it’s okay…really…don’t worry about it…”
Bette thought that was odd…the letter…a vase in the garbage with roses in it and Tina just got home about an hour ago….what the *****? she walked into the house and Tina was coming out of the shower…”Hey babe.” she said as she noticed Bette walk in the door….

“okay..” yelled Tina as she walked into the bedroom to get dressed…”I’ll be out in a second”
Bette walked over to the counter and sat the food down….pulled out 2 plates and piled up the dinner on them…’What the *****? The letter…roses…got home an hour ago…and she just got out of the shower….
Just then, Bette was startled as Tina wrapped her arms around her from behind and kissed her neck….”Ummm,..

“Is that so?” asked Bette as she turned around and took Bette into her arms and held her tight…
“That is right….uumm…I’m starved…come on babe…let’s eat in here..” said Tina as she grabbed her plate and headed for the den…”Okay” said Bette as she too grabbed her plate and headed for the den…they both sat on the sofa…
“So, what did u do today?” asked Bette…
“I left the CAC, and came home…” answered Tina in-between bites…
“You stayed at home all day? You didn’t even go shopping or go see the girls?”
“Nope…here all day….” said Tina before taking another bite..
“So, you would’ve been here when Jenny grabbed some roses out of our garbage can by the road?” asked an already agitated Bette…
“Uh…yea…but I didn’t see her do that….”
“Where would the roses have come from? I didn’t send them….”
“Ummm…I don’t know babe…I didn’t know that there was any roses in there?’
Bette threw her fork onto her plate and stood up….”Alright…goddammit Tina…quit ***** lying…*****…”said Bette as she walked away from the table and went out by the pool….
