The Planet – Thursday night

Bette, Dana, Alice and Shane were there, hanging out… enjoying their drinks…. they had forced Bette to promise that she would spend as much or her remaining time in LA as possible with them.

The Planet was full… after all Thursday´s night was ladies´ night….

Dana: but seriously… what do I lack of, that the rest of you don´t?

Alice: charisma?

Shane: a life?

Bette: (smiling) don´t be so mean you two… (now looking at Dana) nothing sweetie… it´s not about lacking something or not…

Alice: (interrupting Bette) ohhh come on Dane… how many times have we had this conversation? And most important… how many time more are we gonna have this conversation? You just need to relax more… trust yourself and your instincts…

Dana: yeah… but once again… how can I trust my instincts when I don´t have any on the first place?!

Shane: bullshit! How many times do we have to tell you that EVERYBODY has a gaydar?

Alice: (to Shane) ahem… she might be the exception Shane… we´ve got to give her that…

Dana sighed in discontent like admiting her lack of a gaydar….

Bette: (rubbing Dana´s back) ohhh come on… they are teasing you… you know that…

Alice: ahh… yes… and no… look Dane, is not so difficult… and sometimes you don´t even have to study all the details in a girl to know if she´s gay or not… if not look at our little Shane here… (pointing at Shane)

Shane: ohhh fuck you…. no wait… I would never… go to hell Al!

Bette: (giggling) I happen to disagree with you Alice… not on the Shane part but the rest of your statement… it´s no easy, and you know it… sometimes you may misread those “details” or even worse, you may misinterpret behaviour as well and end up diving in an empty pool…

Dana: (looking at Bette) tell me about it! (and now looking at Alice) besides I can´t trust you… you are not entirely gay afterall…

Alice: ohh don´t give me that bisexual bullshit again… why is it that the “we are entirely gay” comunity keeps on underestimating our points of view and opinions simply because we are “bisexual”… jesus…

Bette: not all the “we are entirely gay” comunity does that Al… don´t asume that. Just because you´ve run into some people that underestimated your opinions, it doesn’t automatically mean that the rest of us does as well… because then you are not any different than those people… plus you are the first one in putting labels to everything and everyone…
