Shane, Mark, and Carmen’s apartment.

He wakes up alone, feeling no time for a dating life these days.  His existence now revolves around the project as well as making sure Gomey is still able to handle his own.  It has been an experience in editing to the point of exhaustion.  He has a presentation to prepare for.  He has Veronica Bloom to prepare for.

Alice has her friend, Dana with her in the studio, awkwardly going over plans to be a part of an Olivia Cruise.  Dana is to be part of a special guest panel with Phoebe Sparkle.

Alice ”So she’s taking me and also her girlfriend, Lara and our friends, Shane and Carmen.  Now just to digress for a minute into Lesbian Linkage One-Oh-One, Shane and Carmen initially hooked up.  Then they moved in together with this guy, Mark.  Mark hasn’t had sex with either of them, before you find yourself dumb enough to ask.  Shane of course is a star on the Chart, having her own hub and most everyone in Hollywood is connected to her in some way, either directly or indirectly.  On the opposite end, there’s Lara, Dana’s girlfriend.”

Dana ”She’s a chef!  She’s great!”

Alice looks annoyed at Dana’s interruptions.

Alice ”Lara is something of an opposite to Shane.  She is almost an island with the few sexual partners that we know of.”

Dana ”You can’t tell them that, Alice-”

Alice ”There’s also Gabby.”

Dana ”Wait, Gabby?”

Alice ”Anyway, back to the big web of connectivity…”

Shane, Carmen, and Mark’s apartment.

Shane and Carmen have their own preparations at hand.  They pack their bags, preparing for the cruise.

Dana and Lara’s apartment.

While Shane and Carmen pack, so do Dana and Lara.

Dana ”She totally talked all over me the whole time.”

Lara ”You don’t think she’s still mad as us, do you?”

Dana ”Nah.  If she were mad, she would have just had Shane and Carmen go with her on the cruise instead of letting us go, too.”

Lara ”Do you think she invited Gabby to come?”

Dana considers the thought.

Dana ”I dunno.  I mean…I got my ticket.  You got yours.  Shane and Carmen got theirs.  Not sure if Alice got an extra one or not.  Then again, she did mention Gabby, but…I uhh…interrupted her.”
