Worth Holding On Too Chapter 100

    “Where is she?” Callie asked

“In bed, she’s not feeling great today, very nauseous” Bette explained

“Did she sleep?” Callie asked following Bette to the lift

“Carmen said she maybe had an hour”

“Not good enough, I might need to get her a sleeping tablet, he body is in crisis mode”

Callie followed Bette to the end of the corridor and into Jess’s room.

Bette walked over opening the window and gently shaking Jess to wake her.

“Oh hi, sorry I was just resting my eyes”

    “Hey superstar how you feeling?”

“Honestly, not overly great today” Jess admitted “I don’t have an ounce of energy today”

“So I see” Callie smiled sitting on the edge of the bed and lifting Jess’s arm to take her pulse and blood pressure. “You’re very warm, did you sleep much?”

“Not really I was a bit sore”

“Can I have a look at your tummy?” Callie asked

“Sure” Jess said moving the blanket on the bed and lifting up her top

“I’m just going to take the dressing off and change it whilst I’m here, then well get your blood took” Callie explained

Callie went about doing what she was doing, Bette looked on concerned.

“Okay out of curiosity, if we had to take you back into the hospital…”

“Callie please don’t do that to me, I’ll stay in bed everyday if I need too, at least here I can sleep a little and I’m more comfortable”

“Jess I have to be honest with you, if your blood isn’t up your coming in tonight for your own safety, I know that’s not what you want to hear but it’s something I’m not willing to budge on.”

Jess didn’t argue she just lay looking at the ceiling as a tear fell down her face.

“hey hey hey don’t get upset please” Callie said wiping Jess’s tear “I’m not doing it to be a bitch, I’m doing it because I care and don’t want anything to happen to you, come on I’ve been your doctor for nearly 10 years now, I’m also your friend”

“If I need to go back in, I need to go back in, I’m over it, I just want to be better” Jess snapped “Where’s Mum?”

“She’s just popped to the studio for a meeting with Lisa, they shouldn’t be long” Bette said

    1. Thank you for the update!

When Jess is feeling better she and Bette need to talk and after that the whole family needs to sit down and talk this mess out, this has fested long enough. They need to clear the air, so they can move on as a family.
