    Jess got up and followed Bette out to her car.   Tina was in the kitchen tidying around and sorting out the washing. Mason, Jace and Lisa all walked into the kitchen. “Morning” Tina smiled “Yep” Lisa yawned “I’m hungry mum so is your grandchild” Tina laughed “Yep I’m hungry too” Mason agreed “Going to

    Jess got up and followed Bette out to her car.

     

    Tina was in the kitchen tidying around and sorting out the washing. Mason, Jace and Lisa all walked into the kitchen.

    “Morning” Tina smiled

    “Yep” Lisa yawned “I’m hungry mum so is your grandchild”

    Tina laughed

    “Yep I’m hungry too” Mason agreed “Going to watch TV”

    “Mason don’t get comfy were going out for your school uniform shortly” Tina stated

    Mason chose to ignore what Tina said

    “Jess and Carmen still sleeping?” Lisa asked

    “Nope” Carmen yawned “I have no idea where Jess is”

    Lisa looked from Carmen to Tina.

    “She’s away to the doctors with Mama she has a sore throat”

    “And that requires the doctors?” Lisa asked

    “I have no idea I was sleeping when they left” Tina explained

    “Let me go call her” Carmen said leaving the kitchen to go get her phone.

    She returned with her phone in hand.

    “Her phone is here so that’s out the question” Carmen said

    “I’m going to shower then off to the gym, is that okay baby?” Jace asked Lisa

    “Why you asking me, I’m not your keeper you can do what you like babe” Lisa smiled

    “I didn’t know if you had plans today” Jace said leaning down and kissing Lisa before leaving the kitchen.

    Bette and Jess walked in the door, Mason turned looking at them and then turned his attention back to the TV.

    “Hey you, you could have woke me” Carmen smiled at Jess

    “Jess isn’t allowed to speak” Bette smirked

    Jess shot Bette a look that would kill

    “Sorry?” Tina said confused

    “Her throat is badly inflamed, she’s on voice rest for 2 days then needs to go back and see a specialist” Bette explained

    “Oh dear” Carmen said pulling Jess closer to her and hugging her

    “However will you cope” Lisa laughed

    The look Bette received was now in Lisa’s direction.

    “Do you want something to eat sweetie” Tina asked Jess who nodded no

    “You need to eat” Tina stated

    “She can’t swallow” Bette explained “We can get some ice cream when were out for her”

    “It’s going to be bliss in here for 2 days, so quiet!” Lisa smiled

    Mason was listening from the sofa, he got up of the sofa running up to his room and returning with a notepad and pen. He sat it on the counter writing.

    1. Poor JESS can not get a break it seems,now the prospect of needing surgery on top of not being able to talk is daunting .Get it taken care of sooner rather than later is the best option for her.MASON don’t be afraid go back to school.thanks
