“Yeah someone asked if they could interview us both as twins” Lisa laughed “Jess thought it be cool for her fans to see were just normal people.”

“I dread to think” Tina smiled

“Mum what we going to do to help Mama?” Lisa asked

“I have no idea Lisa, Your Mama doesn’t want to be near me at the minute”

“It’s not like that Tina, I’m sure she does not want to be near anyone” Kelly said

“That’s the problem though we can’t help when she won’t let us.” Lisa stated

Bette sat behind her desk drinking a glass of orange juice. She sat her pen down and opened her desk drawer taking a box of pain killers out and taking two.

Dana knocked on the door before going in. Bette looked up and closed her eyes.

“What’s that face for?” Dana asked sitting down on the sofa

“I don’t need any grief Dana” Bette stated

“I’m not here to give you any, your actions yesterday were plain stupid simple as…And your car repair will be a sore one” Dana stated

“Wasn’t that bad actually I was expecting much more”

“Could have been funeral expenses you were forking out for yours or someone else” Dana stated looking at her best friend

“What happened to the no grief?”

“I’m not giving you grief I’m giving you facts!”

“Dana I don’t need to hear it”

“Well we will beg to differ, have you any idea what you’re putting your family and friends through?”

“Look if you’re here to give me shit then you can leave my office…don’t you have a class or something?”

Dana got up shaking her head “Do you know something Bette…I love you dearly your my best friend…But the Bette Porter I know is a fighter and courageous. You my friend are behaving like a cowards and someone who’s gave up on life! You beat the cancer so get over it and start building your life back together!”

Dana left the office slamming the door.

Bette closed her eyes shaking her head running her hand through her hair. She picked up her phone and then changed her mind placing it back on the desk. She lifted the family picture she had sitting on her desk and ran her thumb across it before sitting it back down.

    1. Hmm, i really don’t know what to say. Thank god i am not familiar with terrible diseases, but i can understand and believe this is hard to deal with, Bette because she got the cancer and always hiding her feelings and fears , but she needs to open up to Tina and her family.

Tina and the family must not push Bette to hard to open up, give her time and let her feel with small things that they love her, like the song Jess wrote.

      Great update as always!
