Carmen walked into the kitchen just after 5am she jumped seeing Bette at the table.
“Wow you just about gave me a heart attack” Carmen said walking over to the kettle
“Sorry” Bette apologised
“It’s usually me that’s the middle of the night wanderer” Carmen joked
“You working today?”
“Yep start at 6am” Carmen yawned “Got a full week of days”
“You prefer days do you not?”
“No I like back shifts” Carmen explained “How are you today?”
“Well I’m not going to get pissed if that’s what you aiming at” Bette stated
Carmen smirked “No Bette it wasn’t actually”
“I’m sorry I put you in that position”
“Bette I couldn’t care about the position you put me in…well I could because I worked hard to get where I am, but most importantly none of us could cope with anything happening to you, I lost my parents remember and it hurt like hell and I wasn’t even close to them, I don’t want to see our family go through that”
“I know I’m sorry” Bette apologised
“It’s okay, do you want a cuddle?”
“I would love a cuddle” Bette got up and walked over to Carmen allowing her to hug her
“My cuddles are great however your wife’s will be better…Jess’s cuddles make me feel ten times better than anyone’s” Carmen explained “I have to go, I’ll see you tonight”
“Have a good day” Bette smiled sitting back down at the table
Jess walked into the kitchen at 6.30am
“Why you awake Mama?” Jess asked
“Couldn’t sleep so came through here to do some work”
“It’s frozen in here why you not in the lounge?”
“Prefer to sit at the table” Bette answered
“Well it’s frozen, let me turn the heating on” Jess left the kitchen and returned 2 minutes later going into the fridge for some orange juice. “Do you want coffee or anything?”
“No I’m okay” Bette sighed closing the lid of her laptop “I need to go get in the shower and dressed”
“Do you need me to do anything?”
“You could make Mason’s packed lunch if you want; he has basketball after school so he likes a packed lunch”
“Okay” Jess walked over to the cupboard getting out her medication “Have you took your tablets?”

Holy shit! Bette, you stupid woman! You are breaking your familys and mine heart, why do you do this.
Please tell me that you will bring Bette back to her family and that they will live a long and happy life.
