Carmen sat against the wall outside the hospital, Lisa sat beside her.
“Do you want a hug?”
“No I’m okay I’m just majorly pissed off that they’ve took this long to get to the route of the problem” Carmen snapped
“I hear you” Lisa agreed
“She’s not got an ounce of energy Lisa and they want to cut her open again” Carmen ran her hand through her hair
“That’s why she’s not giving a shit and not caring, she doesn’t have the energy to care, so we need to support her and help her make these decisions” Lisa said
Andrew, Amy and Jace walked towards them.
“Hey what’s going on?” Jace asked
“Her heart is struggling they want to operate again”
“Sorry what?” Jace stated
“Exactly it’s a fucking puzzle to me too” Carmen snapped getting up and walking away from them
Lisa looked at Andrew shaking her head.
Andrew let go of Amy’s hand following Carmen.
“Babe wait up talk to me” Andrew said catching up with Carmen
“I just need some space Andy let me get my head together please” Carmen stated going to her car and getting in it
“I really don’t think you should be driving” Andrew stated
Carmen ignored him reversing out the space
“Or you know what do what you like” He said throwing his hands up in the air
“There’s no point you going in she’s sleeping” Lisa explained
“Do you need anything?” Jace asked
“No were okay, I’m going to stay here for Mum and Mama’s sake” Lisa kissed her husband “Love you, give Liam a kiss from me, I’ll be home to see him later”
Just after 6pm Dr Yang walked into Jess’s room. Jess was still asleep.
“Jess is your daughter?” Dr Yang said looking at Bette
Bette nodded
“You’re not having a good time of it at the minute are you” Dr yang sighed sitting down and rubbing Tina’s shoulder
“You can say that again…This is Carmen, Jess’s wife”
“Hi I’m Dr Yang nice to meet you”
Carmen shook the doctor’s hand.
“So I’ve spoken to Dr Torres and I’m more than happy to get you a second opinion if that’s what you want”
“No I was just angry and venting I’m sorry” Carmen apologised “But can you explain exactly what’s going on”

Thank god that the operation went well, lets the recovery start and move on to happier times.
