You and me – Part seven

Carmen still sat with Tina next to the window.

When she woke up this morning in Shanes arms she never thought that she would be so far away from her love the next night.

Suddenly she heard a quite ring from somewhere. Nobody of the others seemed to hear anything.

“Don’t you hear that?”, Carmen asked and looked through the room.

“I don’t hear anything”, Alice murmured tired who was lying next to Dana onto the sofa.

Carmen looked at Tina and then over to Bette. Both shook her heads and looked commiserated at her.

There was it again. A ring.

“There. Don’t you hear it?”, Carmen exclaimed again.

“Maybe you should get some sleep Carmen”, Tina offered her worried.

Carmen stood up and went to the kitchen where she thought the ring had come from.

“Carmen, come on. Just lay down for a little while”, Bette said and followed Carmen into the kitchen.

“Who’s this cell?”, Carmen asked as she saw the blinking cell at the counter.

“Its mine”, Bette replied rashly and took her cell phone.

“Kit”, Bette read disappointed from the display.

    Carmens face fell.

Shane held her hands up to protect herself from the person who was running towards her.

The gaits stopped in front of her. It suddenly stopped raining. She looked up afraid and saw a familiar face who held a bumbershoot above her head.

“Hey, Shane. What are you doing down there? Is everything okay with you, honey?”, Kit shouted trough the rain and helped Shane to stood up.

“Your face.what happened Shane?”, Kit asked terrified as she saw Shanes face.

“I…I justcan you bring me home?”, Shane stuttered weak.

“Sure. Wait, I’ll call Bette. She can catch you. You know my drivers license is still in vacation”, Kit smiled at Shane.

Shane wanted to protest but Kit already grabbed her cell. She didnt want to argue anymore. To argue with Clive was enough for her tonight.

“Hallo Kit”, Bette answered her cell.

“Hey, baby sis. Can you do me a favour?”, Kit asked.

“Kit.first its half past two in the morning and second we have here other probl”, Bette relied into the cell but was interrupted by Kit.

    1. Wow.. you did a fast upgrade. I wanted to comment on your last chapter but I missed. BTW It freaks me out what Bette said about her cellphone. It’s really good to feel how Carmen connects with Shane supernaturally. Shane has a brain concussion? I believe that Carmen will take care of her and am also worried if Shane’s wound is worse than she looks. Thanks for your great job and sorry for my poor English.

    2. This is called needing you. The phone on silence We need Windrider for this one. Love how the whole gang was so worried about one of there own. Thanks

    3. That was really cute. I was dying to know how Carmen and Shane were to react .. and guess what.. that was perfect. I really like your writing style, it’s direct and useful. It’s crazy who, by that way of writing, there is a lot of action in a chapter. So, I really liked your chapter and I’m waiting for the next one. Post soon please.
