    Tina makes her choice.

     

    “I have no idea” Tina replied dismally

     

    “Can I throw in my two cents?”

     

    “Since when do you hold back?”

     

    “True. Anyway, can you tell me what you want out of this mess?”

     

    “What I want is for none of it to have ever happened”

     

    “OK, well there’s our first problem. When you play this game you’re not allowed to want the impossible and time-travel is…”

     

    “Impossible” Tina sighed “I see your point”

     

    “It’s time to stop looking back and start looking forward. From what I can see that is what Bette is doing. She’s looking at what is in front of her and wants to make some choices”

     

    “But she hasn’t made a choice, she’s forcing me to choose for her!” Tina retorted

     

    “Or maybe she doesn’t want to exclude you from the decision making process. I think we can safely assume that Bette wants to be with you and that is what she chooses. It doesn’t happen very often but even Bette knows that she can’t always have what she wants, that is why she is considering the job in Paris.”

     

    “So it’s like I’m plan A and Paris is plan B”

     

    “Exactly” Alice agreed “She does have a right to move on with her life if it really is over for the two of you. This is really big, she’s going to pack up her entire life and move to another country. Why couldn’t she banish herself to the valley or something?”

     

    Tina couldn’t help but smile, she knew that Bette would rather die than move to the valley.

     

    “She’s not exactly ‘Valley Girl’ material” Tina agreed

     

    “I don’t think Bette believes that there’s oxygen outside of West LA” Alice laughed

     

    “True”

     

    “Seriously though, this is going to change everything if she leaves. Are you ready to let her walk out of your life?” Alice questioned

     

    “No” 

     

    “So are you ready to try and work things out with her?”

     

    “No” The response was adamant

     

    “Well to the left we have a rock, to the right we have a hard place and you have 38 hours until that flight departs.”

    2. that’s what i’m talking about! making the wrong decision just because she isn’t ready to make any other decision and won’t submit to the emotional blackmail. not looking good for them. good chapter! i’m trusting you!

    6. Totally trust you! Liz and I are basically saying the same thing, but I don’t think the blackmail is intentional. Tina is making the right initial decision, yet I hope love changes her mind.
