"Yes there was a woman here earlier and she able to identify you." "She said your name is Tina Kennard." "Does that sound familiar?"
"No it doesn’t. How does this woman know who I am?"
"She said she is your life partner"
"My what??"
"Your girlfriend?"
"I’m gay???"
Chapter 5
"Well I’m not sure about all that Ms. Kennard, I’m just telling you what we know"
Tina was in shock- she didn’t really think about her sexuality. She was too concerned with figure out who she was.
"Where is this woman??"
"Visiting hours aren’t until the morning so she said she would come back then- she also told me to tell you she loves you."
"Loves me?" Tina couldn’t wrap her brain around this new information. There is a woman out there who loves me. She tried to search her brain for any feelings of love. She didn’t feel any.
Tina spent the rest of the day laying in her hospital bed trying to imagine what this woman looked like, what her personality was like. she wondered and hoped that her memory would come back as soon as she saw this person.
"I’m gay" Tina said to herself.
Bette and Angie had woken up from their nap. Bette was laying next to Angie and decided she needed to tell the little girl about what happened to her Mama T.
"Baby, so you’re mama T will probably be coming home tomorrow ok?"
"Where is she?"
"She had a little accident and the doctor needs to keep an eye on her for a little bit"
"is she hurt"
"No baby she’s gonna be ok"
"Ok" Angie hoped off the bed unphazed and walked out of the room
"I hope she will be fine and I hope she will remember us" Bette said to the empty room.
Bette got dinner ready and she and her daughter ate.
She was cleaning up the dishes when she heard a knock on the glass door. She looked over to see a worried looking Shane.
"Hey, Bette sorry to bug you just wanted to see how you are holding up"
"I’m ok- I’m just happy she is ok. I’m not sure what to think of this amnesia thing. The doctor said it’s probably temporary so maybe when sees me or Angie she will remember everything."

well, bette should still take her home, they can’t just let tina out on the streets by herself

Poor Tina and Bette. It better taking her home anyway she might fall in love allover again who knows? That will be a shock for Angelica tho. PPVS
hmm i wonder how amnesia victims are handle in cases where they can’t remember family…See I think even it were a hetero couple then they would release her in the care of her husband but they wont just do that for a lesbian or gay couple…just isn’t right..anwyay in l-word fanfiction we can only hope the writer would break the rules. LOL
I hate to say it, but Tina is an adult. If she doesn’t need any physical care, then they would probably release her on her own. I am sure they would hope there was someone there, but as an adult who is physically capable I don’t think they can force her to do anything. Although, if Bette has her medical power of attorney, and if they are listed as domestic partners…?? Let’s remember that Tina is a mother, so they would need to disclose this to her I would think. This is good!!
