    Tina began to blush and smiled

    Bette began to play with Angie in the sand. Tina sat back and watched- she thought  This is where I belong.

    Chapter 19

    Bette and Tina took turns taking Angie out in the water. She was a true California girl who loved the beach and the water.

    Tina was getting so tired after being up so late the night before and she was getting more and more drained by the sun. She laid back on the sand let her mind relax as Bette and Angie were playing n the water. She immediately started to have a vision. She was always excited when this happened because she hoped that in her subconscious state real memories would come back.

    She saw Bette who was very dressed up- she looked so beautiful. They were at an art gallery together. Tina was wearing a blue dress and Bette was in all black. Tina is looking around trying to understand where they are. She sees Alice and Shane. Everyone is congratulating Bette so she is assuming that this was one of Bette’s gallery opening. She looked up and saw a sign- Provocations. Bette was speaking to the press and holding Tina’s hand tightly as they walked around the museum. Tina was talking to Kit and then was looking around for Bette. She looked through and window and saw Bette talking closely to a woman. She saw the look on Bette’s face and she knew instantly. This was the one Bette cheated with. She saw their interactions and she literally felt her heart breaking.

     

    “T? Wake up- your turn to go in the water.”

    Tina snapped out of her memory she looked up at Bette and didn’t know what to do. She was torn between slapping her face or erupting in tears. She looked over at Angie and knew she needed to keep it together.

     

    “Actually I’m not feeling great- can we go home please.”

     

    “Um ok- are you ok? What hurts?”

     

    “I just want to go ok?”

     

    “Ok” Bette said a little surprised. She looked at Tina and could sense that something was off, but she didn’t want to push it in front of Angie. Bette and Tina packed up and headed home. Tina went in the house and directly in their bedroom. Bette changed Angie and put her down for a nap. She walked quietly into the bedroom. Tina was laying on the bed her back to the door. Bette could tell instantly that she was crying. She rushed over to the bed.

    10. I’m so sorry that particular memory had to come so soon but at least it is out of the way and they are moving past it again. Maybe that was just what Tina needed to kick start her memory and get back to the place they were before the accident. Having that memory has given Bette an opportunity to respond in the manner that she would have wanted to in the past but circumstances did not allow that to happen. Now she can say and do everything that she wanted to at the time of the original situation. Great update. Thanks for posting.

    16. Well, that was a tease. We’re all lefton edge. I hope you’re happy. And I hope sad Bette and Tina are having a breakthrough. And I hope Shane has some pajamas for Angie to wear, because she’s probably spending the night. Can’t wait for the next chapter! Thanks!

    25. Ouch. I think the new response to Provocations was much more from Tina’s diminished anger than from Bette’s new handling. She went for the physical show of love again. tsk, tsk. And you left us hanging. Not nice. Not nice at all. ;)
