"Well whatever happened I’m glad your earing got left behind."
They both smiled at each other.
"So anyways" Bette continued. "We were together for a long time. We built a beautiful life together. Somewhere along the way though I guess I became the dominant one and you took care of me. We tried to have a baby and it took a while for you to get pregnant, but you finally did. In the 2nd trimester we lost the baby."
"Oh my god" Tina’s eyes filled with tears. "I had a miscarriage?"
"Yea and it took you a pretty long to recover. It was a really hard time for us as a couple and we began to grow apart."
Tina started crying as if she was listening to a really sad story about a stranger. She couldn’t believe this was her story
"So we broke up?"
"Well yea." Bette really didn’t want to go into the whole Candace thing but she thought she should. "I messed up- that is the real reason we broke up."
"What do you mean?"
Bette didn’t wanna say it- right now she had a clean slate and she was worried that any progress she had made with Tina would be gone.
"Well this is hard to say…but I cheated on you. It was the worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life. I was so lost and confused." Bette just wanted to keep talking so Tina couldn’t react. "So you left, but before we broke up you had gotten pregnant, and we actually got back together for 6 months after Angie was born. But we were both not in a good place, and you actually left me for a man."
"Stop…" Tina said through tears. "I don’t wanna hear anymore."
"I’m sorry Tina- I just thought it would be good for you to hear all this to make spark your memory."
"I know but I just can’t believe this is our story- it’s so heart breaking."
"It does seem that way, but the good news is we found our way back to each other and this time we got it right. We are equals and we are devoted to each other and to our family." Bette reached across the table and took Tina’s hand into hers. "This time we are going to be ok T."

heartbreaking for sure…something has to happen for tina to remember
wow i wasn’t sure if Bette would admit the entire truth but she did and I am proud. Excellent update poor Tina but one way or another they will find a way.

I finally caught up with this very intriguing story. This is such a sensitive subject and one that will take time to resolve. I just hope that Tina does remember and if she doesn’t at least she feels comfortable at this time being around Bette and Angie.

Eventhough Bette’s heart is breaking, I’m glad she came clean with Tina about their past and didn’t hide anything. I know it’s too soon, but something tells me if they made love, Tina’s memory would come flooding back! LOL Please post soon because I’m loving this story a lot!
