Home I guess. Bette mutters…I followed her out tried to explain but found she had taken my ring off, she had threw it in her purse like it was of no importance, she was so mad at me….Bette says rubbing her forehead.

Kit takes a deep breath… Oh boy…what did you say to her?

Bette blows out her cheeks and lets out a breath… I told her if she didn’t trust me whole heartedly not to put the ring back on….and I stormed off back inside Milk.

Bette You know that girl loves you, and you let some other woman put her hands on you in front of her, I would be ticked to. But I would have scratched the girl’s eyes out… Tina has a lot more restraint than I would have…Tell me if the tables were turned what would you have done? Saying with her hands on her hips standing over Bette now.

I wouldn’t have taken it well…

Kit laughs hell no you wouldn’t have. I would suspect the girl would be in the hospital if she would have touched Tina the way she was touching you and you with that puppy dog face looking at her…I say Tina left so she didn’t make a scene.

I know, she has this Kennard temper where she gets red all over and I know it took all she had not to walk over there, that’s why I went after her. I knew I had screwed up… you know I didn’t even realize Shy had put her hand on my waist until Tina pointed it out to me I was just feeling hurt for Shy thinking what all I had put her through. I wasn’t thinking or I would have pulled away.

So now what are you going to do?

I’ll go to work tomorrow, and I’ll try talking to her but not tonight she has some thinking to do and to cool down. Can I stay the night ?  I’ll go home in the morning and change for work.
