Bette could tell Tina was upset because she had become red blotched on her chest. Have some water Tina, Bette tells her in almost a whisper. The Tina shoots her a look like she had done something wrong. Bette raised her eyebrows as to say what? Tina turns her head and excuses herself to the restroom. I’ll come with you Bette says. The waiter poured them all coffee and Joe and Russell started talking with Jeffery about what they might want to do before heading home.
