Hello Tina. Tina reaches for the bags to help her set them down. Then Brie hugs them both and while saying thank you dear. You two weren’t busy were you?
Tina and Bette look at each other …No no we were just talking Tina says. Bette flicks her tongue back and forth in her mouth while Brie has her back to her. Tina is trying not to respond but gives her the eye when Brie reaches for a bag. Bette just smiles.

Traditionally, well when a girl gets married she wears something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. This is your new.
Tina opens it and it was a set of diamond earrings. Tina’s month gaped open. She was stunned at how beautiful they were. Oh My! Tina says touching her chest…Brie this is too much.. She was trying to hand them back.
Don’t be silly dear. Take them. I bought them for you, Brie says holding Tina’s hand that held the earrings. Tina has tears and Brie hugs her… I love you dear and I am so glad you came into my daughter’s life. Tina kisses her on the cheek…Thank you so much for the earrings and most especially for letting me be a part of your family and having Bette as my wife.

Where’s mine? smiling from ear to ear holding out her hand, not wanting anything but to annoy her mother…
Oh shush. She slaps away Bette’s hand…Bette laughs…You’re getting something old from me but it’s at home I will give it to you later. She reaches for a garment bag and unzips it as Bette walks over to Tina and gets a look at the earrings. Bette winks and then gives Tina a kiss.

Brie turns with the dress. I was thinking this one for the rehearsal she holds the dress to her for them to see.
Wow that’s really nice…Tina says as she comes closer to touch it.
Oww and it feels like it will be comfortable what’s it made of?
Some type of microfiber the sales lady said they were flying off the shelves. I have a shawl at home that will go great with it.

Brie turns with the most beautiful champagne colored dress made of a silk like fabric with a sash draped across from one shoulder to the other.
Oh wow Mom!.. are you trying to show up the brides with that beautiful dress.

Yes! Tina and her say at the same time.
Great I have looked for the past two weeks and I saw this one last week but couldn’t decide. So today I took your sister with me and she loved it.
Kit went shopping with you?
Yeah she needed a dress too and she found one in the last store we went in to. She’s having some shoes dyed for the one dress for the wedding. She is going to be so pretty…Oh and Shane said she was going to do all of our hair for the wedding. She’s so sweet.
Shane? Where did you see Shane? Did she go shopping as well? Bette asks.
Oh no dear she was at the Planet when I picked Kit up this morning.
Oh I was going to say I don’t think Shane was in the market for a dress. Tina says.

Wonderful surprise to get a update just before heading up to bed! And wow, the dresses sounds really beautiful, can you post a picture?
Ok, off to bed, have a plane to catch tomorrow, i am going for four days to Rome with my lovely wife. If it is a great place, maybe the happy couple can spend their honeymoon there and offcourse in my beautiful country the Netherlands ;-)

Hello! Thanks for another post! I worked 3 pm til 11:30 pm Sunday! So, I’ve being working my ass off this week. My off days are now Thursday and Friday. I still hate nights! I’m grateful and appreciate having a job but hate the change in my life. Wish you could post everyday. Well, I’m off to bed now its 2:05 am here in the good old US of A! PPS
Geez …your shifts SUCK!… yes I know all to well about those life changing jobs some times they are out of our control but doesn’t make it hurt any less.. I hate mine at the moment I feel like I’m starting at the bottom again and having to prove myself all over again.. It Sucks!..your resume should speak for it’s self but when it’s ran by men they gloss over and don’t always see you as an equal. I’m off today and tomorrow. so I will post in a minute take care my friend.

It was time for Bette to tell Tina about her finances and her will, I think it so sweet that she wants Tina to be taken care of. Bette’s Mom gift to Tina was so sweet…her something new! Yes, I’m still looking forward to the wedding and I just love how you are writing Bette/Tina in this story! :-)
