After reaching LAX, Bette had begun having a series of
non-stop panic attacks. Her assistant
Clara was, thankfully, none the wiser to the recent turn of events. On the other hand, the incessant chatter
coming from the redheaded 23 year old was driving Bette insane.
‘Why did I promote James?’ Bette thought just as Clara began
talking about the hottest nightclubs in
Looking around LAX, Bette’s mind had wandered to that day
three years ago when she stood in this very airport deciding where to go. She had no ties anywhere in the world except
LA, the one place she couldn’t bear to be.
So with nothing but a bagful of belongings, credit cards and a passport,
she had stood staring at the outbound flights looking for a sign.
This was the turning point.
This one choice would determine the rest of Bette’s life. Bette had cleared her mind, blocking out the
pain for a single, solitary minute. In
that moment a flash of her and Tina’s trip to
made its way to the front of her mind.

started, “I know we just got here, but can we please go out tonight?” Clara

‘Oh great.’ Bette thought. ‘Here we go again.’
Her assistant Clara had been trying to get Bette to go out
with her from day one. When Clara had
first started working for Bette 2 years ago, the younger woman had harbored a
mad crush on Bette. Bette had let her
down gently and told her she didn’t do relationships, she didn’t date and
didn’t plan on it ever again. After that
it had become Clara’s quest to get Bette Porter out on the town.
Clara had succeeded once and it resulted in a major
disaster. After a major exhibit opening
at the fantastically successful
James, Clara and Bette went out for drinks. As the alcohol began to flow, Bette felt the
past coming back to haunt her and the depression grip firmly on to her
mood. After several bottles of wine, a
few martinis and shots of scotch, Bette told the entire story of Bette and
Tina. At the end, all three of them were
crying hysterically alone in the dark booth.

Sorry to see that Tina was never pregnant the second time. That’d be a shocker for Bette, now, wouldn’t it?
No! Tina cannot be with Shane….just isn’t right….besides this story and all others MUST end with Bette and TINA together…and then Shane will be heartbroken…..AHHHH! Tell us more!
I think everybody needs to let morrison write the story the way morrison wants to, whether Shane and Tina wind up together or not. Mkay? Kay.

Oh man! I’m starting to relish trying to guess the outcome of (some, mind you I said some and I might add–rarely!) of these cliffies…I’m guessing that this club belongs to Tina or Shane (or both???) Just wondering because the gut at the door is expecting them like they’re regulars and why else would they hang somewhere regularly other than the Planet…UNLESS!…Tina a had a falling out w/ Kit over Bette or over the fact that she IS w/Shane! SHIT! SHIT!! SHIt!!!! Did I just say that I liked these cliffies? I am such a liar! Don’t listen to me. I am going to go mad just thinking about what will happen next! My imagination is running away with me already and I’ve only just finished reading this one!!! LOL! Please put an end to this craziness and post soon!!!! Please? Thanks :)
