At the hospital
Johnny was sitting by Tina’s hospital bed holding her hand. Tina was still unconscious but slowly began to fluttery her eyes.
Johnny: Oh my God Tina are you alright girl.
Tina opened her eyes
Tina: Johnny what the hell happened?
Johnny: I don’t know Tina you fainted and the doctor is running test to find out why.
The doctor enters the room
Hello there Mrs. Kennard
Tina: Uh, hi doctor
Doctor: How are you feeling?
Tina: Okay, I guess
Tina: What happened doctor?
"Well I have wonderful news," the doctor stated showing her excitement?
"You do?" Tina stated looking puzzled.
Doctor: Yes I do, you and Mr. Kennard are expecting.
Tina looked confused: What? Who?
Doctor: Mr. And Mrs. Kennard you’re having a baby
Johnny quickly removed his hand from Tina’s.
Johnny: Oh, no, no, no you are mistaken we are both gay.
At least I’m gay, Johnny stated looking at Tina as if she had been infected.
Tina: What’s that suppose to mean?
Johnny: Well Tina you know you women can’t make up your mind. One day you want women and the next day you want a man.
Tina: Johnny I did not have sex with a man.
Johnny: Oh God, you mean you got inseminated. Wow, girl why didn’t you tell me.
Tina covered her face. She’s got to be dreaming, she thought.
“I’m going to close my eyes and try to wake up,” Tina thought said in her head.
When Tina opened her eyes again she was still in the hospital room with the doctor and Johnny looking at her strangely.
There was complete silence in the room for a moment.
The doctor breaking the ice: Um, well Ms. Kennard you need to remember to rest and not get too worked up when you are released. I here you were pretty upset when you fainted. You have to think about your health because you need to be healthy for two now.
Tina: Doctor are you sure I’m pregnant?
Doctor: Yes we ran the test twice.
Tina: How far along may I ask?
Doctor: About two weeks

i was missing this story, and here it is!! great reading. i had to snigger at the end when tina was beamed up to the greater beyond. me thinks it was “momma” who tracked her down and took her “home”. i’m guessing looking down on the little folk, bette was able to see tina’s every move. so now, the edict stands that tina’s child will be returned and brought home. hmmm.anyway, lovin this story. thanks for taking the time to share with us.

I have to admit that I am not into science fiction, but I kept seeing your story come up. So, I decided to get caught up with what you have already submitted. Well, you got me hooked. I am very interested to see what is going to happen. I hope that was Bette who beamed Tina out and Alice saw it. The look on Alice’s face would be priceless. Please post soon.

I knew Bette wouldn’t let Tina just get rid of her child without giving her the opportunity to speak about it and tell Tina she would take the child home with her. PPS
