Tina went pale and began to cry.
“Oh my God my baby will be a…a…. alien,” she thought to herself but made sure this time the statement was in her head and not aloud.
Doctor: Ms. Kennard please calm down stress is not good for the baby.
Tina stopped crying and assured Johnny and the doctor that she was okay and needed to leave ASAP. The doctor gave her strict order on reducing her stress. Tina agreed to everything that the doctor order. She would agree to anything just to leave the hospital.
Tina went home and cried some more, cursed Bette, and then called her best friend Alice.
Alice phone rings
Alice: Well it’s about time Kennard. To what do I owe this pleasure?
Tina: Can you meet me at the Planet tomorrow?
Alice: I don’t know, let me check my schedule.
Tina: Alice! This is serious I need your help and support.
Alice stopped her usual attics when she heard the urgency and desperation in Tina’s voice.
Alice: Okay TK, what time?
Tina: After work, say 5pm?
Alice: Okay
Tina: Bye
Alice: Hey, Ti….
Tina had already hung up the phone. She did not want to answer any questions right now.
The next day at the Planet
Tina was thinking of a way to tell Alice but could not come up with anything that didn’t sound unbelievable however she thought this was unbelievable.
Tina saw Alice walked in and flagged her down to indicate where she was sitting.
Well it’s now or never, she thought to herself.
Alice walked over to Tina’s table. Normally she would joke around but the looked on Tina’s face warned her not to.
Alice didn’t know any other way to bring up the subject so she just let it fly.
Alice: Okay TK what has got you so unraveled?
Tina looked down as her hands started to shake.
Tina: Alice this is serious and I am scared so please don’t make fun of me.
Alice: Tina I am not trying to, I’m jus….
“Alice I’m pregnant,” Tina stated louder than she realized.

i was missing this story, and here it is!! great reading. i had to snigger at the end when tina was beamed up to the greater beyond. me thinks it was “momma” who tracked her down and took her “home”. i’m guessing looking down on the little folk, bette was able to see tina’s every move. so now, the edict stands that tina’s child will be returned and brought home. hmmm.anyway, lovin this story. thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Sounds like Bette has come after her woman and child. I guess no abortion, which is good.

I have to admit that I am not into science fiction, but I kept seeing your story come up. So, I decided to get caught up with what you have already submitted. Well, you got me hooked. I am very interested to see what is going to happen. I hope that was Bette who beamed Tina out and Alice saw it. The look on Alice’s face would be priceless. Please post soon.

I knew Bette wouldn’t let Tina just get rid of her child without giving her the opportunity to speak about it and tell Tina she would take the child home with her. PPS
