    Thank you Dane, thanks for fighting for us…

    Alice held Dana’s hand tightly as she sat beside her. It had been one week since Dana’s revived from a heart attack. The doctor said that Dana was doing fine and reacted positively to the medication they gave, which gave Alice hope that Dana would wake up one day. Alice was snapped out from her thought as Tina walked in together with Helena.

    "Hey" They greeted Alice in unison as they made their way to Dana’s.

    "Hey." Alice smiled weakly at them.

    "Hmm, Dana looks better now." Tina smiled as she caressed her cheek.

    "Yeah, the doctor said she’s been acting positively to the medication." Alice said proudly, the other two smiled with joy.

    "Ohh, Alice, where were you when I called this morning?" Helena said.

    Alice thought for a while before she smacked her forehead.

    "Ohh, I left it at Dana’s place, so forgetful. Why were you calling me?"

    Both Tina and Helena looked at each other as of how Alice could get into Dana’s house. But they just shrugged it away.

    "I was wondering whether you would like anything from the Planet, therefore I called you. But anyway, I brought you sandwich and coffee." Helena said as she hand the food and drink over to Alice.

    "Thanks." Alice took one sip of her coffee. Then Tina noticed that something was bothering Alice.

    "Al, is that something wrong?"

    "Hmm." Alice looked down at the coffee on her hand.

    "I wonder if you guys can help me to watch Dana for two hours while I go to her place to get my phone."

    "Of course!" Both said in unison. Alice lifted her face and smiled at the two.

    "Thanks."

    "We are honoured to take care of Dana. Just go get your phone, have some rest and bath before you came back." Tina said.

    Alice thanked them again. She whispered some words to Dana and kissed her on the forehead before she made her way out.

     

     

    Alice sat on Dana’s bed and exhaled as she found her phone there. Then her gazed shifted to Dana’s drawers. She remembered the letters she saw one week ago while she was there. She stood up and made her way to the drawers and opened it carefully. She lifted the box with her name on it. She was astonished as she saw another box underneath with Shane’s name. She took the two boxes out and went back to the bed.

    1. Hi uhhuh! I ‘ve been reading this story from the beginning as well as your previous ones but I don’t usually have time to leave comments. This post,however, really moved me and I thought it would be good to leave a comment. The letter to Shane was a great idea that you had as a writer. And it served its purpose well to create that certain atmosphere that I think you intended to. Well Done!P.S. I really hope Dana gets well and be with Alice once more but it’s your story and you should do what you think is best. I’ll be reading. :) Thanks! Take care!

    2. You broke the record with 3 different stories in one day. I had to take a dinner break after reading your story to compose myself. I am with MaGoose & observer, the letter was extraordinarily moving. It hit home alright. I am a sucker for tearjerkers. You did an outstanding job with it. Over time, reading all these Danish fanfics, a few had caused me shed tears, and this is one of them. The rest of the update was suspenseful too. Please allow D to slowly (I do mean slowly, so you can torture me more, lol) get well. Seriously, I want to learn all about the 10 letters D wrote. Thank you again, you rock! I also thought the song “Last Request” was perfect under the circumstance. p.s. The youtube music video posted by iloveleisha in April 2007 was put together beautifully.     3. Another post? You are on fire!! This one was great, as well. I am torn on Alice reading the letters. And the letter to Shane was just heartbreaking. How much in love must Dana be to have done something like that? I wonder if Shane would have followed Dana’s wishes – I find it hard to believe Shane would continue a ruse like that. I am glad Alice didn’t get into an accident trying to get back to the hospital. How scary that must have been. And Dana is fighting for them? Yay!!! I hope Dana gets better soon and they can put the hurt behind them and move forward. Thanks, uhhuh!!
