“Hey you “ Tina said “ How you feeling ?”
“Like I drown in a bottle of Southern Comfort “
“You look better than I did this morning “
“Thanks – not that I feel it – what time is it ?”
“9:30 “
“God – how long have I been out of it ?”
“Long enough – you need some coffee ?”
“No – you got any juice ?”
“Sounds like this morning “
Tina carefully eased away from Bette and went and got her a can of soda and poured it into a glass for Bette who drained it in seconds.
“Another one ?”
“No – its okay “
Bette rubbed her face and looked at Tina
“You wanna go out with me again ?”
“I don’t need a series of dates to know that I want to be with you “
“I didn’t think it would turn out the way it has “
“I know – I have told Kit and I’ve spoken to Phyllis – she is fully behind you staying off for the rest of the week but she might need to come and see you tomorrow. I’ll go to your place in the morning and get you some clothes and James is dropping your car and your briefcase off in the morning as well “
“Super organised aren’t you ?”
“Single mom’s have to be – especially ones who have mad first time directors to deal with”
“You aren’t a single mom any more “
“I know – we are a couple “
Bette looked at Tina
“You have no idea what you mean to me “
Tina touched Bette’s face
“I do – because I know what you mean to me “
“We can really make this work “
“We are going to make this work “
“I like this alpha side to you “
“I like that you are prepared to let me take charge – the old you wouldn’t have “
“The new me gets turned on by it “
Tina sighed “Its going to get messy with her you know ?”
“I just don’t want anything to do with her “
“With luck she’ll get fired – but if I was her I would keep away from Kit and me “
“My protectors “
“No – Bette – I know you are the most gentle person I have ever met – that’s one of the things that I love so much about you – you are so gentle Bette. You don’t get treated like that by a fucking ego maniac like that ever again “
“I walked into her studio and she was being fucked by “
“Its okay – come on “
“Where are we going ?”
“Its been a crazy day – you are worn out and so am I – lets go to bed and just hold one another “
Tina stood up and held out her hand for Bette
“Nothing sexual – just cuddling and getting to know one another again – you like ?”
Bette felt tears come into her eyes
“I would like that so much – thank you Tina “
Bette stood up and Tina lead her to her bedroom.

Happy to see this chapter AllyE, love the story. Also love alpha Tina, taking charge of her loved ones. Jodie needs to be roughed up by Kit and Tina, and Phyllis fire the heck out of Jodie. She’s just bitten off more than she can chew with assualting Bette. james would love to weigh in on this one and take care of her because he loves the three of them so much, Bette, Tina and the baby. He would go to the wall for them. PPS

I guess I’m not very original, but I love this story!
I am glad that James didn’t keep his mouth shut on this it was way to important that others know what Jodie did. It is so good that Tina took charge and got through to Bette. More than anything right now Bette needs Tina and Angie’s love and the stability they bring. A part of me kinda hopes that Tina and/or Kit get a piece of Jodie, I really don’t think she know who she messed with. I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter.
That was awesome and glad Tina is there to take care of Bette. jodi better get lost or Tina and the gang gonna kick her ass and then feed her to alligator, what a crazy bitch. Please post more, thanks!
this is a cute story, drama drama drama, but Bette and Tina versus the world is fine by me!!! I’m really glad you wrote this, not a fan of 5 x 11 at all, this Tibette cuteness totally makes up for it though!!

This really should be a matter for the police-they call it assault and battery. If Jodi is such a loose cannon, she really shouldn’t be allowed near students let alone the general public. And we always thought it was Jenny that was the nutty one. But you know, Tina can’t blame her hangover on the brownies.
The police should be call. Lets leave Shane out of this, rather have Tina or Kit do it. Maybe she could hear after a few blows to her stupid head. As the Dean Bette had every right to unlock anydoor in her Deptment. Jodie being so stupid as to try to bribe a student, with sex or other wise. Jodie was slowly brainwashing Bette,Tell her to watch her back and to stand up to the board member for her. Bette could have lost her job,and never be able to teach again. thanks

This story is certainly different. But I’m liking it. I like the way Tina is taking charge..and being a calming presence. I like the family time too.

Hey AllyE, What a great twist to this break-up. I agree that Jodi would turn feral at Bette leaving her. Brilliant if heart-breaking. What is truly wonderful is Tina’s response.
