Chapter Three
When you touch my weary head
And you tell me everything will be alright

The first Tina knew that there was trouble was during a break in filming. She managed to escape to the catering van for a cold drink and a Danish. Adele was beginning to freak her out – there was something about her – Max had spotted it first and Shane had told her that there were people who were getting spooked out by her. Tina had dismissed it at first – she had too many actual problems to deal with without worrying about Adele – after all – how much damage could she do ?
Tina checked her mobile and cursed when she noticed that she had missed 5 messages. The first was from Angie’s pre-school – she was doing great – that made Tina smile. Being so involved in shooting Lez Girls meant that she couldn’t spend as much time as she wanted with her daughter. The second was from Kate who was now working in Vancouver on a TV movie – they had remained friends despite Tina rejecting her advances – that had been several months ago – even then Tina had known how much she wanted Bette back. And now it looked like it was going to happen – finally they were both in a place where it was possible – Tina just hoped that Jodie wasn’t too upset.
The third message was from James – had she heard from Bette ? Tina looked at her watch – it was 5pm. The fourth was also from James – it was very important she ring him. The fifth message was from a number that Tina didn’t have in her mobile but it stated “This is from Phyllis – if you hear from Bette tell her to ring me – anytime of the day/night“.
They had always had a sixth sense about one another – an instinct that could not be explained – Tina began to get a sense of foreboding about Bette. She quickly dialled James number

Happy to see this chapter AllyE, love the story. Also love alpha Tina, taking charge of her loved ones. Jodie needs to be roughed up by Kit and Tina, and Phyllis fire the heck out of Jodie. She’s just bitten off more than she can chew with assualting Bette. james would love to weigh in on this one and take care of her because he loves the three of them so much, Bette, Tina and the baby. He would go to the wall for them. PPS

I guess I’m not very original, but I love this story!
I am glad that James didn’t keep his mouth shut on this it was way to important that others know what Jodie did. It is so good that Tina took charge and got through to Bette. More than anything right now Bette needs Tina and Angie’s love and the stability they bring. A part of me kinda hopes that Tina and/or Kit get a piece of Jodie, I really don’t think she know who she messed with. I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter.
That was awesome and glad Tina is there to take care of Bette. jodi better get lost or Tina and the gang gonna kick her ass and then feed her to alligator, what a crazy bitch. Please post more, thanks!
this is a cute story, drama drama drama, but Bette and Tina versus the world is fine by me!!! I’m really glad you wrote this, not a fan of 5 x 11 at all, this Tibette cuteness totally makes up for it though!!

This really should be a matter for the police-they call it assault and battery. If Jodi is such a loose cannon, she really shouldn’t be allowed near students let alone the general public. And we always thought it was Jenny that was the nutty one. But you know, Tina can’t blame her hangover on the brownies.
The police should be call. Lets leave Shane out of this, rather have Tina or Kit do it. Maybe she could hear after a few blows to her stupid head. As the Dean Bette had every right to unlock anydoor in her Deptment. Jodie being so stupid as to try to bribe a student, with sex or other wise. Jodie was slowly brainwashing Bette,Tell her to watch her back and to stand up to the board member for her. Bette could have lost her job,and never be able to teach again. thanks
I am glad that Tina’s text made Bette see sense and went to Tina’s place.I know its not cool to use violence but can Jodie get roughed up by Shane.

This story is certainly different. But I’m liking it. I like the way Tina is taking charge..and being a calming presence. I like the family time too.

Hey AllyE, What a great twist to this break-up. I agree that Jodi would turn feral at Bette leaving her. Brilliant if heart-breaking. What is truly wonderful is Tina’s response.
