L-word: This question is for Stamie. You are realtor by day, stand-up comedian by night and you are raising three kids. How do you manage all that and keep your sense of humor?
Tracy: Medication (laughing).
Stamie: It’s really hard and I’m not really good at it all the time. I guess what I could say is fall down. When you can’t do it, you do what you do to get through it and cry or drink or do whatever. It’s really hard, though. I never knew how hard being a single mom was. Now every time you see basketball players and they are like, “My mom raised me and she had three jobs…” and I’m always like, “I get it,” because being a parent you give it everything, it’s all about your kids. You give everything to your kids and Tracy believes in that also. I’ll be walking around with holes in my t-shirt and I’m going, “Oh shit, I got to buy myself some clothes,” because all I’m doing is buying the kids their stuff.
Tracy: I think we are constantly looking for balance in our life but we finally realized that we probably will never find an exact balance that we are happy with, so it’s about the best that you can do, keeping the kids in mind. It’s about them first.
Stamie: Yeah, I guess today is do the best you can do and realize that you not gonna get everything done.
L-word: This question is for Tracy then. You live with a stand-up comedian who also has no filter. How do you manage that?
Tracy: (laughing) I don’t know. People ask how do we work and I don’t even want to figure that out, because I’m afraid of the answer. We just work. She’s the yin to my yang. She’s the funny girl and I’m the straight guy, you know, the straight girl. We played off each other very well in life and comedy, with everything and with raising the children too. We both have the same beliefs but we handle raising the kids slightly different at times, so we are good for each other. Sometimes I want to run…
Stamie: But then I lock the door.
Tracy: Yeah, she locks the door and then I can’t get anywhere, and it goes away.
Stamie: I think we all want to do that. I want to run sometimes.
Tracy: No.
L-word: And leave the kids with Tracy.
Stamie: Yeah, and leave them with Tracy (laughing).
Tracy: I don’t actually really want to run. It’s a lot of fun. It gets hard at times and the key to do it I found is communication. You have to communicate with your partner and you figure it out. It works out.

I’m a fan of them and think they’re wonderful and I highly respect the work and as a person thank Brazil
