Jennifer Beals returns to Canada in January to start work on the series Proof for U.S. cable channel TNT. This may come as a bit of a surprise as the pilot was shot months ago, also in Vancouver. See our photos from the filming.

Filming for 10 episodes begins in January and is scheduled to run until April 24.

Beals plays a surgeon hired by a cancer-stricken millionaire, played by Matthew Modine, to investigate cases of reincarnation and other supernatural phenomena. See our previous article on PROOF.

The cast includes Sean Gleeson (Cold Mountain), Joe Morton (Scandal), Callum Blue (Royal Pains) and Edi Gathegi (Justified).

We will continue to provide coverage of any project that includes Jennifer Beals.
