Read our LOST GIRL DOCCUBUS FANFICTION
SPOILER ALERT* The final season is on hiatus, but how about that last episode? “Oh boy yes” was the phrase shouted around the world by Doccubus fans after a season filled with highs and lows for the couple. I’m not going to give away too much, because you really should watch for all the bits and pieces, but Bo ran the gamut of lover’s once again including birthday present Tamsin, complete with red bow, a tryst with her step mother in another realm and even Dyson’s son. Interviews confirm that there will be more ups and downs to come for Doccubus, but it’s Lost Girl, would you expect anything else?
Here’s the highlights of Doccubus 501-508
Season five presents us with more than one possible “Big Bad” and plays nicely between the two leaving us unsure how it will all play out. But they did bring the big guns by introducing “The Ancients,” which are basically the gods. Zeus, Hera, Hades and who knows what else is in store. Bo and the gang have their work cut out for them. I for one and both scared and excited for the end. Will Bo be able to resist her dark side now that her father is involved? What will happen between Bo and Lauren? Will Trick finally have to answer for any of the wrongs he’s done and what will come of Kenzi?
The cast is mum on the ending and the new teaser looks bad for Dr. Lewis, but as we know, things are never what they seem in promos. All Anna and Zoie promise is that they are happy with the ending and that some fans will be and some won’t. Agony!!
Now we begin the long wait for the final eight that will begin airing in Canada on September 6 and an undetermined date in 2016 in the U.S. September 6 is also the weekend of Dragon Con, so there maybe some fun news that weekend as five members of the cast are slated to attend. I’ll be sure to report back. Until then, we have plenty of time for theories and rehashing everything up to this point.
All I know is that no matter what happens, Bo has made it clear to all that Lauren is her love, so let the cards fall as they may.
-In other news, I finally had the chance to meet Zoie Palmer at Treasure Coast Comic Con in Florida. She was every bit as lovely as you’d imagine and yes, it was a dream come true for me. I found this photo on twitter. It was better than the one I took at the con, because they were able to accurately capture the glow that surrounded The Palmer. It’s a documented fact that she lights up any room she enters.
I’ve also included the video I took from her panel where she talks about Lost Girl, her new show Dark Matter and shares some fun stories from early in her career. The video was posted to youtube with the help of @anniethemighty. Thanks Annie! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-GRU-ovqv8
I also hope you’ve had time to check out Ksenia Solo in Orphan Black and Turn as well as Rachel Skarsten in Reign. Emmanuel Vaugier will be a regular on Mistresses next season and not to leave out the guys, Paul Amos is Jacob Frye in the new Assassin’s Creed video game. So there are plenty of places to see your favorite Lost Girl cast members.
Exciting news from LesFan- if you’re a fanfic writer, Lesfan is teaming up with another lesbian fan site and will be choosing stories to feature, so get yours posted and you could be next!
Finally, I am happy to announce that I will be publishing my first lesfic novel next month. Be on the lookout for “Somewhere Between Love and Justice” on Amazon, hopefully July 14. You can follow along at swandersenwrites.com or @sw_andersen on twitter.
