The end is near and things are heating up in both the promos and conspiracy theories. Everything from everyone dies to Doccubus rides off into the sunset (we can only wish) to Lauren becoming evil or Fae. The cast is still mum, but the details seem to become more and more vague as they begin to muddle themselves from one interview to the next. The cast seems happy with the way the show ends, but stress that not all fans will be satisfied. Somehow I feel that’s directed at Doccubus fans since all other ships have been effectively sunk in cannon.

But maybe that’s just me. I’m trying to be optimistic. I’m trying oh so hard, because I usually am, but these promos can bring you up and then throw you to the floor just as quick. One way or the other we will know in just a few short months and I am hoping my heart isn’t broken for the holidays. Well, any more broken that the show coming to an end anyway.

One thing stands out in my mind that would make for a happy ending without Doccubus and for me, that’s Bo living on her own terms and not falling victim to fate or destiny or the things she has fought throughout the last five and a half seasons. She has always made her own rules and if the show ended with her succumbing to what has been already written, I would be hugely disappointed. What good is the hero without the girl or the dream or some kind of victory? The show has meant so much to so many and has served as such a beacon of hope, I really want it to end on a high note.

That’s my soapbox for the day.

They say it’s all about family. The question is, when it all comes down in the end, which family will Bo choose?

In other notes:

Zoie Palmer and Paul Amos traveled to England for Palmer2looza in July. Seems a great time was had by all and theres a number of videos and pics floating around Twitter and Youtube, but here’s a great clip of Paul reading fanfiction and trying to coerce Zoie into reading a Doccubus scene.

Zoie has been killing it on Dark Matter. I may be biased, but the Android has been my favorite part of the show. She even does languages! If you haven’t been following the show, Ruby Rose was also in this episode as a pleasure based android with an Australian accent. Seems the Android may have some feelings after all. Check it out:

Finally, in an EPIC coup DragonCon wrangled Anna Silk to join Zoie, Paul, Kris, Rachel and Ksenia in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend. Four panels are tentatively on tap along with a slew of photo ops including Doccubus, CopDoc, the four ladies and Benzi. Of course the entire group as well.

Not to mention that episode nine will premier that weekend so we will be a buzz on Monday at the con with all the latest.

If you can get there, it’s not too late to join me and a slew of other Lost Girl fans to partake in all the fun as we give the cast a raucous farewell and sincere thank you for being so amazing. www.dragoncon.org has all the details.

ONE FINAL NOTE: My book has been officially released on Amazon in print and Kindle. I appreciate the warm reception and great reviews from everyone so far. If you haven’t seen it, you can get an extended preview here: Amazon.

Until next time, live the life you choose,
