“Ben and Kate” – the heartwarming new sibling comedy created by Dana Fox (“What Happens In Vegas”) and directed by Jake Kasdan (“Bad Teacher”), also debuts Tuesdays this fall. The comedy follows a pair of odd-couple siblings and their friends as they push each other out of their comfort zones and into real life. Kate, played by Dakota Johnson (“The Social Network”) got pregnant and had to drop out of college. When her spontaneous older brother Ben (Nat Faxon, “Bad Teacher”) moves in, he realizes that Kate needs his help and he’s determined to bring some much-needed chaos into her stable life. Also starring Echo Kellum and Lucy Punch (“Bad Teacher”)
“The Mindy Project” – a new single-camera comedy from Emmy nominated writer Mindy Kaling that follows a woman who, despite having a successful career, desperately needs to break bad habits in her personal life. Mindy is determined to be more punctual, spend less money, lose weight and read more books, all in pursuit of becoming a well-rounded perfect woman who can meet and date the perfect guy. The cast also includes Ed Weeks, Chris Messina (“Damages”), Zoe Jarman (“Huge”), Anna Camp (“The Good Wife”), and Dana DeLorenzo.
