I Will Not Let You Fall

”Please take a seat wherever you like. I’ll be back in a minute.”

Tina nodded in acknowledgement and, after the woman left the room, looked around cautiously. Nice furnishings, Ivy League diploma along with other certificates of achievements in Psychology hanging on the wall in fancy frames, a few family photographs on the desk, Psychology and Counseling books on shelves – all that was giving the impression of a professional and successful therapist’s office.

The blonde stared at the bi-sectional couch and wondered what would be more appropriate – if she sat down or lay down. Only people with neglected mental health issues would choose to lie down, Tina thought with stereotypical criticism. After all, she wasn’t here because of her mental health, she wasn’t some sort of a mental case, the blonde kept assuring herself. She would rather have not come here at all, if the truth were to be told.

Having chosen to take a seat on the couch, Tina made herself comfortable. Not knowing where to put her hands, she got a hold of a small cushion and fiddled with its corner.

”Here I am,” a woman entered the room, smiling at her client good-heartedly.

The smile didn’t do anything to soothe Tina’s nerves, moreover, it was only making everything worse, causing second thoughts to burst into her mind as to whether she really needed all this.

Tina watched the woman take a notepad from her desk and then seat herself on the armchair opposite the couch. Studying her, Tina took a notice of the woman’s kind eyes and relaxed attitude. She was probably in her late thirties, but she looked good and healthy.

”Let me introduce myself. I am Dr. Flemming, but you can call me Patricia. How would you like me to address you?”

    ”Tina,” the blonde answered meekly.

”Very nice to meet you, Tina. If you don’t mind, I’m going to ask you some questions, and take notes about what you say so I can keep it fresh in my memory.”

    ”Okay.”

”Have you ever seen a counselor before?”

    ”No.”

The woman nodded, writing in her notepad. ”What brings you here, Tina?”

Here it comes, Tina panicked, her heart starting to beat faster. She realized that she was not prepared for this as much as she had thought.

    1. Wow Valerie, this is too hard, I like how you are taking them down and even downer and it would be a masterpiece to redeem them up. Thanks for the long chapter and waiting anxious for the update. Waiting also for an update your other story

    2. Oh Valerie, you are slowly breaking my heart! How are they ever be able to come out to the good side?

Sometimes it is better to carry someone in your heart and not be in their lives, so true spoken, but again it will break my heart if Tina decided to leave Bette and try to live a normal life.

I still hope that Bette is a undercover agent and not the criminal like she is.

I think Bette should be careful about Tasha, i don’t trust her like Bette.

Thanks for a incredible update again and i look forward to the update on your other story!

    3. Thanks for the update! Happy to see that you still continue :)
But there seem to be no more silver linings at the horizont for Tina and Bette. Bette has to start changing, getting her act together and working on pulling herself out of this mess.
Tina deserves better than a girlfriend who states that she has to run from her or accept the circumstances.
I can’t imagine a way they could survive this mess.

I’m kind of despressed right now but I hope that you will soon continue with you story and give us some positive moments :)
