    Hi, my name is Spencer Carlin, and I have issues.

    Luckily, things did go back to normal over the next couple weeks. Everything was going well with my case, and Aiden and I had managed to strike a balance between working and being friends; I had actually gone for drinks with him again, which was much better the second time around.

    Carrie and her fiancé had enclosed an invitation in my mailbox for a little open house cocktail hour kind of thing a few days after I met her. Fortunately, I didn’t have to RSVP which meant that I didn’t have to go. She wasn’t at the dog park, either, so I was totally off the hook.

    Sunday had approached again, and I had plans to finally go over to Aiden’s for lunch. The building was gorgeous with its pre-war architecture and contrasting modern furniture motif inside. He met me in the lobby and brought me up, talking excitedly about how they were going to open the heated pool on the roof in just a few more weeks.

    “Remember that time when we all spent the weekend in Santa Barbara, at that crazy hotel?” he asked. I couldn’t help but smile; it was, to this day, one of the most insane weekends of my life.

    “Of course. The field trip idea.”

    “Which you thought up!” he reminded me. The plan was to make fake field trip permission forms for a ‘marine biology trip.’ That way we could even get our parents to give money for the hotel. And everyone’s parents totally bought it.

    “Definitely one of my shining moments,” I smirked.

    “No… I’d say your shining moment was the drunken skinny-dipping in the hot tub…”

    “Shut up!” I said with a laugh. “God, I was so trashed that night.”

    “Yeah, you were. But let’s just say you fulfilled a lot of fantasies for the guys on the trip,” he smirked.

    “What?!”

    “Nevermind.” I knew what he was talking about, though. I was drunk and naked in a hot tub, and Ashley was sitting right next to me. I don’t think I need to elaborate. I didn’t say anything else as he gave me the tour of his apartment. Not a word. Why was I acting like this?

    “What’s wrong Spencer?” Aiden asked.

    “Huh? Oh, nothing.”

Okay, let it never be said that fanfic can’t positively alter a negative mood.In between the time you posted Grow Old With Me and this chapter an issue related to work came up and had me frustrated. Anyway, I left my house and went to train Capoeira (a martial art…check this clip out if you’ve never seen it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeX-zezRlvM ) but left still feeling peeved – until I saw that you updated this story. Serenity now thanks to Kozmic’s Completely Incomplete! Do I need to tell you that this is some kick-ass writing? Well it is. Please post soon.

Now that was just a tease. that third page. i hate when the site does that….but i’ll tell you what i love. now the marathon has brought me to a resting point. …I love that your summarys make it sound like spencers in AA. or something like that….hehe. i love learning about the chacters slowly and through dialouge rather than expotion-ey description paragrahps….now if i’d only start writing that way….well my love, i need to stretch and get ready to sprint off to the next leg of this marathon. *faster than a speeding bullet*
