    6 Months- chapter 3

Bette left the house the next morning heading straight for The Planet.  She had called Tina and asked her to meet her in order to finalize all of the legal transactions between the two of them.  Matters between them were far from being settled.  The future of their house had not been decided, accounts and possessions not divided.

Bette knew that by asking Tina to The Planet, an open and public spot, she had the best chance at Tina’s willingness to listen and discuss the matters needing attention.

The time for the meeting was 10 am, much later than the normal group got together.   It was Bette’s hope that it could just be the two of them, no one else around to interfere.  Bette planned to have a conversation with Tina in order to discuss their future as well as bring up Peggy’s offer.  Arriving a few minutes early, Bette sat back and waited for Tina while sipping her latte.

Bette did not have to wait long before Tina arrived.  Scanning the room, Tina located Bette and headed for her table.

"Hi" she softly said, looking down at Bette with an unreadable expression.

"Hi" she responded, extending her hand offering Tina a place to sit.  "Glad you could make it."

"I don’t have long, Bette" she said in response as she took her seat.

Bette looked at Tina, trying to get a read on her mood but the once open eyes were blocked off to her.  Whatever was happening with Tina was only going to be revealed as she determined.

"How are you doing?" Bette asked.

The look offered by Tina in response was the only answer given.

    "Why am I here, Bette?"

Realizing that pleasantries were beyond them, Bette took a deep breath and said, "We have some things undecided Tina and I was hoping to get some resolution so that we could see where we were."

Tina did not respond, simply looked at Bette while trying to control her breathing.  Bette saw this reaction and wondered what it was in what she had said that could have possibly angered Tina this time.

    1. Welcome to fanfic writing. As a huge T & B fan I have to say I think Bette should take the offer and move on(and it looks like thats where you’re taking this story). Tina seems to have moved on and isn’t interested in Bette at all.

    2. Okay,Bette get your butt in gear, and more on. Looks like Tina has gone on with her life, but after Bette is gone see who weeps and groans the loudes,She just gave up on us. great chapter. but Tina was little shity to Bette.

    3. Oh, that was not an informed conversation. Tina didn’t have all the facts. All that deliberation and that’s all Bette could come up with? Major life decisions and she didn’t give Tina the opportunity to participate in the decision?
