Bettes ride home
As the zephyr caressed Bettes face and curly tresses, she smiled as she cruised the highway taking her time driving back home. The buzz from her drinks hadnt completely worn off and she didnt want to run the risk of getting pulled over. The crescent moon shone brightly in spite of its half size and Bette set the cruise control, turned up the radio, and allowed herself to totally relax. It was the first time since being drunk with James, that Bette had felt this at ease. Danas compassionate words replayed in her head making her smile at Danas goofy though admiral charm. Bette wondered if Alice would remember seeing her and what Shane might ask once shed gotten over her latest lover. Bette began to wonder about Tina after her mind vaguely thought about Jenny and Marina. Bette found them an odd and elusive pair were whose union was still an enigma to her. And then Bette thought about Tina again, wondering where she could have been and even with whom. With whom? The words looped in Bettes head leaving her unsettled for a brief moment and then she thought about it again. Well, its a big club and maybe shed gone to the ladies room. Or maybe she got lost, the place seemed endless, and, and The words circled in Bettes head relentlessly trying to upset her. Stop it! Stop it Bette! Bette unconsciously said out loud. Shes allowed to go out and have a good time; now grow up Bette Porter and let her enjoy herself, Bette loudly chastised herself.

After putting a CD in the player in favor of the radio, Bette calmed down and continued her drive home.

Tina & Nya
Tina, Im honored and very much surprised that youd want to keep in touch with me, Nya confessed.
